Australian State Borders are now Closed!. COVID-19 Lockdown 2020

IMG 3117It was written in the stars, the planets have positioned themselves in a malefic way and a world collapse is looking imminent now across the entire planet.

This all started in the Wuhan Province in China.  All ports into Australia should have been closed down immediately (shipping and air) at the end of January when we first got wind how big a problem this could become. The federal government were slow to respond in an efficient manner.  They took a male view of she'll be right mate instead of a female pro-active nurturing immediate shut shop manner and now all Australians are in enforced lock down in our homes and we are paying the price.

Yesterday all of the States agreed to let the children go home although the Prime Minister kept saying that schools should remain open.  The top brass medically speaking (Chief Medical Officer) keep repeating this weird palaver about children not being an issue when it comes to Covid-19.  That response hasn't gone down well with the mums and dads and general public or with the teachers.  A large number of parents refused to send their children and instead just kept them home from school anyway.  Queensland Teachers threatened strike action.  In all honesty teachers were being sacrificed on the alter of capitalism.

I don't have school age children anymore now they've all grown are in a state lock down in Queensland now.  If I did have school age kiddies, they wouldn't have gotten out the door all February.  We were aware the government were asleep at the wheel again.  My children definitely would not have gone to school.

No toilet paper, Tenterfield Coles

Within days of people seeing the panic in China and before it was announced as a Global Pandemic, the rush on the Supermarkets for Toilet Paper began and in the weeks since the shelves have been stripped bare of various necessities and Toilet Paper got difficult to procure on the normal shopping trip.  People were hoarding the paper products first and then baby wipes and hand sanitizing gel and finally the foolish out there worked out that you cant eat these things and the food hoarding began.  Meat was continually sold out in supermarkets and Butchers have reported being swamped everywhere.

When I shop I shop for two months ahead anyway, so this hoarding and lack of product hasn't effected me at all so far.  I hope the milk continues to get through because it would be a shame to see milk thrown out because the cows still have to be milked.  The only  way this will happen is if fuel supplies dry up and the trucks can't move about to the factories and distribution points for delivery.

In Australia there is a shortage of face masks so its necessary to make these by either sewing from material or making from paper towel.  Using some of the hoarded paper towel seems like a useful thing to do with some of it.  So I got about and made one of the paper towel versions and it worked a treat and was very snug fitting and looked like it would help if I had to use one for any reason or if I was ordered by government to place one on at all times, and anything is possible with these clowns who make the rules up as they go along so the Corona Pandemic response is not a new way of doing things for them, they always make it up as they go along.

Covid-19 precautionary Mask

The Federal Government have announced a $66B Stimulus Package and our household should be getting $1500.00 into the coffers to spend to keep the economy afloat.  We maybe able to get a satellite dish and box and finally get television so we can see us all going to hell in a hand basket right there in our own lounge room while we sit here in 'Selation'.

Workers have lost jobs in droves all over the country and government announced they would double the Centrelink New Start Payments. People lined up for kilometers to get inside a Centrelink office and thousands of people accessed the MyGov website.  It couldn't cope with the traffic and the website crashed.  Things are not going smoothly as we all stay home and its not a great indication of things to come is it?

'Selation' is a new word for 2020.. its a combination of Self and Isolation ( self-isolation) which everyone has to do if they come in contact with some one who has been overseas or has tested positive for Covid-19.  The exposed have to do this Selation for a minimum of 14 days.  The rest of the country who are not self isolating are practising what has been called 'Social Distancing'.  This practice involves staying 1.5m from the next person at all times as a minimum.  People are expected to only go out for urgent requirements.  The further the better, just stay home.  My  partner Brice came up with the new word Selation after listening to the girl reading the news continually getting tongue tied trying to get her mouth around these two words continually.  Great adaptation there from the Brice Man.

Because people couldn't stay home and everyone in Sydney went to Bondi Beach, the states got serious and shut their borders and if you go over the border you have to self isolate for 14 days, there take that Sydney.  Typical Australian's, no one seems to listen.  People not self isolating when they are supposed to is another serious issue.  Why are people so badly behaved?

On surviving the pandemic crisis if there is a food shortage down the track then we have egg laying chickens and a vegetable garden.   the garden could be enlarged and has been slightly already in the last week and even though we have this, its not enough to survive on.  People are talking 6 months things could be like this.  By then we will at least have more stuff growing but its through winter and not much likes to grow here during the cold months.  That could be a cause for some concern.

They are making a vaccination and I read it would be mandatory, well I don't want to partake and I conscientiously object thank you very much.  We both have great immune systems having not been sick with a flu for over 12 years.

My son is working from home in his job.  My daughters are in industries that have been considered essential services, both working for Woolworths and Coles  Supermarkets. (unless their shop is closed down)  I'm hoping they are all being kept safe by the invisible bubble of protection I have placed around all three of them.  Included inside the protection of this Magic Mumma Bubble is little Luca whose big first birthday is not far off on the 4th of April, Richard, Matilda's partner and Braden, Montana's partner.  I send them all love and a spirit of strength, protection and insight.  I hope that people are prepared and not scared.

At the time of writing this blog eight (8) people have passed away in Australia from Covid-19.

Fly Free to the next level Ram AyAna.. passed from here 26.12.16

Rams posts  about all things interesting will be sorely missed.  I was shocked he left at this time.  We did need so many souls like his here to effect the aggregate.  However he has  a higher job to do now.  Fly free my friend.

To Infinity and Beyond:
This Is the Afterlife

~ Ram Ayana~,
November 14, 2012

Turning inside out, the young shaman falls though a long swirling tunnel formed of his inverted self, his unbodied mouth and eyes agape in a primal rush toward extinction.

He accelerates through a tightly wound vortex that shifts and bends to accommodate his course, always centred in the swirling tube which never touches his falling, disembodied perspective. The tunnel is made of light, and of his own bloodstream, and of all the memories and unremembered details of materiality and personality that made up his life – yet not merely ‘his’ life.

Every human, fish, bird, animal, insect, cell and blood corpuscle that has ever lived is there with him, all at once – the dying shaman can feel their bright fear and ecstasy pouring through him as they all rush toward an unseen destination around the curving, translucent bends of the primal vortex. Even though every being dies alone – no matter if a multitude of witnesses is present – the moment of death itself is one great screaming orgasm experienced simultaneously by every one, every single thing that has ever lived – all our eyes and mouths and ganglia agape at the same simultaneous culmination of our material existence.

The tunnel is an eternally vivid living record of past events and future dreams, all memories and visions embroidered into the seamless fabric of its swirl – and Ram’yana’s private past and the panoply of his personal memories are displayed most prominently to him, brightly livid episodes which emerge from the tubular walls as he passes. His strongest experiences – the most impressive ones, that imprinted themselves most brightly into the palimpsest of his being – leap out at him in high relief as he turns and twists and falls and flies, a singular eye of consciousness accelerating toward the endless end of the convoluted time tunnel that’s leading him home.

As the world we experience slips past us at the periphery of our sensoria, an ongoing tunnel vision moves with us at the extremity of our perceptions, whether dying, dead or alive. Journeying out of the physical plane, outside the material matrix of the world, Ram’yana is beyond time and the ken of time-bound beings; as he leaves four dimensional Timespace and approaches the speed of light everything twists into a tunnel which lengthens fore and aft.

He sees his grandfather and grandmother, Mickey Mouse and Pluto, all the dogs and cats and mice and goldfish that shared his boyhood years, the smells of his houses and the flavours of his lovers. He hears the laughter of his kindergarten friends, their bright faces visible all around him singing ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’, while pretty little Abigail jumps over a spinning rope twirled by Gina and Hannah, her long blonde pink-ribboned pigtails rotating around the sides of her head.

He holds his mother’s huge hand, grasping her finger through the wooden bars of his bassinet while she sings to him in the sultry evening air. He witnesses the expression of semi-resigned shock on his father’s face during the Cuban missile crisis and again when Kennedy was shot, sees the squashed remains of mosquitoes on the wall above his crib, watches the strange lights moving in the sky while all the neighbours point and speculate, sinks again with a collapsing sandbank on Bondi Beach, swept away with hundreds of panicking faces being pulled out to the deep sea along with him, while hundreds of man-eating sharks are driven off by the beating, splashing oars of desperate lifesavers.

He sees his mother’s eyes for the first time all over again and screams at the hard slap on his bottom as he hangs before Doctor Traub’s thick-lensed glasses in the bright, antiseptic birth theatre. His paternal grandmother smiles at him as she leans over and obscures his view of the magnificent giant yellow flowers of the magnolia tree while she wheels him in his pram; he can still smell the cloying fragrance of the flowers. His mother’s mother screams as he holds a dingo puppy up for her inspection and she tumbles over backward in her bedroom, breaking her hip while his eight year old eyes wash the scene away with tears that burn through the illusory years.

The Cat in the Hat and the Mighty Thor; the smell and Hungarian accent of alcoholic Uncle Tony, putting him off beer for years with his first taste of bitter ale at the age of six, and the bright laughing face of his babysitter Wendy by the blazing wood fire; the spray of blood when he cut his wrist falling onto a broken bottle at the age of three and the dizzying view from the emergency surgeon’s high private balcony; the first time he kissed a girl and the first time he dreamed of kissing a girl, all bound up together; flying through the sky in a propeller-driven passenger plane, watching circular rainbows following him in the clouds below.

White sulphur-crested cockatoos and sparrows circle his yard while kookaburras laugh in the gum trees; the first terrifying time his father holds him up high in the air to place him in the fork of a tree; his first night after he ran away from home, reclining on a beanbag in a Kings Cross commune reading Philip Jose Farmer’s pertinent To Your Scattered Bodies Go – everything is there, each scene and sensation embedded within and revealing a multitude of others. Everything. His dying mind seeks out everything he’s ever experienced, seeking a way back into the womb of living as he falls through something else entirely, riding a rollercoaster beyond the imagination of the most topologically tormented tycoon.

As Ram’yana falls he flashes before the eyes of his whole life – as others fall with him, many others, all others, sharing the time tunnel with his self-judging awareness. In the eternity of the Fall everything hidden or repressed is exposed in the Divine Light of clear sight and each being is their own Judge, emerging from the blindfold of their material existence to weigh their own soul on the ineradicable scales of justice and mercy. Conscience is the soul and the soul is immortally, inescapably honest with itself when released from the fetters of self-deceit and delusion.

Beyond time, at the singular moment of the great primal rush that is the birth and death canal leading from one world to the next, everyone experiences the same thingat the same time. We all come and go together in a mind-blowing orgasm; dreaming or screaming, laughing or crying, all emotion quails and pales before the rush of unstoppable motion that dwarfs any and every trivial concern.

No thought of gods or devils, life or death in the primal scream toward the Light at the end of the tunnel – the only thing that matters is holding onto your headless hat and the wordless regrets felt toward all the people, animals and conscious entities you ever knew deeply, or ever loved – and still love, deeply, tenderly, with a perspective of forgiveness, understanding and compassion never vouchsafed to your flesh-bound, in-coiled, emotion-embroiled mortal personality.

Ram is every human who ever lived and died, every fish ever caught in a current to swirl down into lightless depths beyond its control, every bird caught in a whirlwind that flings it to flinders, every animal diving for cover into cloaking vegetation from an inescapable predator, every individual blood corpuscle flinging itself on the way to the crushing pressure at the heart of its warm, pulsating cosmos. As he pours through the end of the world the tunnel twists and whirls, always hiding the point of it all, the point of no return, the heart of the matter, the source of every thing and being – and his mind expands to simultaneously see his spiraling course as a single thread in a vast interwoven image.

The tunnel is one thread among myriad drab and colourful strands in a great uncharitable tapestry, an inextricable part of its intricate pattern. The dying shaman follows the course of his life along its undulating strand and sees that his thread rises and falls above and beneath uncountable other interlocking threads, a spectrum of hues and textures in the enormously unfathomable tapestry. As his thread rises above another he is ‘conscious’, while the thread it occludes is ‘dreaming’; where his strand is covered by another thread, his mortal body sleeps and dreams while the other strand lives their waking life. Everyone and everything is there, all at once, simultaneously, lain out and displayed before him with no need for the flow of time to elucidate the infinite multiplicity of being.

Turn the tapestry around. The thought comes unbidden and the cloth reverses itself around him in a loopy topological twist; the implicately shared complementary nature of consciousness becomes apparent to his blown mind as he sees himself dreaming the lives of others, and others dreaming through his waking eyes and flesh. The intermingling pathways wind around the curving delineaments of their divine co-creation, which turns into itself like a Moebius strip until the beginning of one thread seamlessly winds into the end of another. The falcon is the hunter is the arrow is the feather is the truth. All is alive and whole; nothing is partial or frayed.

The tapestry is vast, but he’s able to follow his individuated thread through the colourful patterns and sees that the enormous conglomeration of dreams and lives is incomplete – not completed by the path of the single thread that is his experience of existence, rising from the tapestry to enter him as him. At the same timeless moment, Ram’yana approaches the plexus of light that is the destiny of all nations, women and men – the future and past of all that are born to fall along with him, minds blown in the blinding light of the immortal portal.

An immaculate blazing white-hot sun glows at the end of the tunnel. He can see it ever more clearly through the transparing walls of the vortex, thinning and fading in the face of the overwhelmingly brilliant source and core of existence. Ram sees the arcs of a trans-finite net spreading outward from the source, sees an infinitude of other vortices approaching its plexus from more angles than he can wrap his bodiless head around. They pass through each other in ways that defy and tease his mortal three-dimensionally entrained mind – but the arrangement makes subtle sense to a higher form of his being, trembling on the edge of an unchartable metamorphosis into something so much greater as to be intrinsically unimaginable. Simultaneously, on another level, the individual personality of the shaman approaches its ultimate rebirth and transformation in his flight toward the blinding light of the central sun.

The source of all is the hot, bright core and central axis of the centreless multiverse, the eternal end of every tunnel; the maw of a transdimensional creature about to swallow him up, the Infinite Light of God and his own silent heart gently glowing in timeless repose. He flies around a final bend in the dissolving tunnel, surging toward the arcane net that veils the core – which flares into him as the tunnel widens, opening into the final straight.

Ram’yana flashes toward the weave that’s flung to the ends of the cosmos, spreading himself to embrace the Light – and as he reaches it, he encounters the safety net. A web-like sieve is strung across the open maw of All, and as Ram’yana passes though it a great, resounding BOUMMB fills the boundless universe – the sound of one heartbeat, as loud as the boom that eternally creates the unborn, ever-living universe; the sound of Shiva’s eye opening and of one hand clapping.

Before your time, he hears and feels, not ready, not yet – unfinished – and he feels himself shrinking toward an infinitesimally small spot in the multitude of multiverses – back into the weave, where plan net X marks the spot where all things meet in his current-bound primate life.
Boumb… Boom…. Boom!

"That’s why I’m here, writing this to you ‘now’ – the same ‘now’ that you are reading it in, really. I and eye remember it all vividly, not as something to slowly forget or avoid in the unfocused mind’s eye, but as an ongoing experience that is with me now, always, dynamically imprinted. It is with me as it is with you, when you close your eyes and open your memory to see truly through the waters of forgetfulness, to the infinite waters of eternal life.
Life and death, sensory wakefulness and super sensory dreaming are the same thing, appearing as the warp and weft of the reversible tapestry of existence. And everyone, each of us, is the whole tapestry, inextricably interwoven – everyone is everyone, and that’s about as close as this constraining corsetry of early third millennium Inglesh needs to get at this point in infinite time – xcept, perhaps, for the most important thing of all -

Every one you truly touch and are touched by, in every way, leaves the deepest and most prominent engravings in your heart, mind and soul. What we do unto others is what we do to ourselves – and other living beings are more than mere memory mirrors or handy usable tools. That’s what draws us back for more, and more again – the need to do better by our selves – over and over, until we do it right. Then we get another choice – or another chance to ride the carousel Wheel of Fortune again, if we so choose.

The multiple layers of ascendant consciousness are a self-filtering system of co-evolution – a system of slowly developing focus and perspective that leads our awareness to other dimensions, already inextricably interwoven with the relatively ‘familiar’ bounds of our largely unknown but ever-present reality. There’s no dim-witted hierarchy of order-givers or sword-wielding guardians barring the doors of higher perception – the gateway to Heaven on Earth. There’s just you – and me, and all of us, together. We all have our time to shine, and that time is always now.

Yet Death is not Dying. In the Bardo spaces between thy flowering carnations of existence, all the bright religious hopes and turgid superstitious terrors await the untrained monkey mind in its ongoing fall toward dissolution or reintegration. The Bardo Realms are entire worlds or pocket universes as apparently solid as the full-blown reality ye imagine around thee, right where thou art sitting, right now. How do ye know thou art alive, not dreaming this experience, right here and now? Do ye think that’s air you’re breathing?

MY GREAT GRANDMOTHERS OBITUARY
Mrs Christina Kirkpatrick Butler (nee Flint)

The death took place of Mrs Christina Kirkpatrick Russell Butler, aged 84 years on march 5th 1962 at her daughter's, Mrs Alicoque Glover's home in White Street, Stanthorpe.  Mrs Butler had had a stroke eight months prior to her death and was nursed by her daughter Alicoque until she passed away. With careful care and attention Mrs Butler was able to walk and move her right arm considerably with assistance only a month after having the stroke.

Mrs Butler was born on her father's sheep property at "Thorn Hill",Maryland. She lived there with her parents Mr &Mrs Robert Flint until she married Edward (Ted) Butler in 1899 at Stanthorpe, Queensland.

After her marriage she and her husband took up a small selection at Maryland. During her younger days she was noted for her horsemanship. She was a lover of outdoor life, especially as far as rough riding was concerned. Many a horse which no man would handle, she would break in, and many an old hand today still talks of her skill in breaking in of horses and buck jump riding. Most of her riding was done in a lady's side saddle. She was still riding at the age of 70 and in recent years when asked if she still rode, her reply was "No the pony is too old".

She learned to ride almost before she could walk for her father who was also an expert horseman and veterinary surgeon, broke in horses of all descriptions and owned and trained race horses and trotters which he raced in Brisbane and various other towns.

In her early days she was also noted for her art in ball room dancing; many a time being belle of the ball. She was a great lover of music and could play the accordion and mouth organ. She still could play a tune on the mouth organ up until she passed away.

Mrs Butler was a very keen reader all her life and never wore glasses. She always did have a fine sense of humor and an amazing quickness of wit. Many a laugh she gave each and all who came in contact with her during her later life.
She and her husband resided at Maryland until 1911 when Mrs Butler came to live with her daughter Alicoque at The Summit and lived with her for eight years.

She then bought a home at The Summit and lived there until her late husbands death four years ago, when she again moved to Stanthorpe to reside with her daughter Alicoque where she remained until her death.

During the whole of her life she only ever visited a doctor twice until just recently. The late Mrs Christina Kirkpatrick Butler is survived by 11 children; four sons and seven daughters.

Sacrifice Day - ANZAC 2016

We didn't forget.
Our Wreath
I am a Wonnarua woman born on Geyan land. I live and stand proud at Talgumbuun / Deepwater NSW on Ngarabul lands with their permission.

Today we talk about my Father who was a sailor in the Royal Navy.  After all it is ANZAC Day again in 2016.   My Dad, William Henry Peters was a Gunner on the ship HMAS Arunta.  When I visited my Daddy he used to tell me stories about how it was absolutely frightening when there were bombs  dropping all around him while he was afloat on the ocean.  My father saw active duty in Korea.

He used to say to me that if any ever tells you they were not scared, they are liars because we were all terrified.  I am glad he survived that war.  If he hadn't he would not have created me.  I was born approximately eleven years after he returned from the war.

William Henry Peters, son of Markus and Matilda Peters
Billy Peters

I am proud of my father because the war wasn't where it stopped. His struggles multiplied.   He lost the use of his legs just weeks before I was born and then he was a paraplegic.   He left this world at the age of 47.  I was 12 years old and I was in shock and I am quite certain I still am.

One thing after another ..  I remember the fact he survived the war part today.  I celebrate the fact that his ship was named after a proud people of the Northern Territory.  I know a few of those people from up there.  Vince Forrester is a Luritja / Arrernte man, he is my friend and spirit brother.

More importantly, today I laid a wreath in what has become known as the classic three colours of the 1970's Aboriginal flag to honour those who lost their lives in the war on home soil (to use a war term).

This is an ongoing war, now known as the Frontier Wars because it has been fought all over this land.  Today solemn and reflective, I proudly honoured the ancestors in front of a very unsuspecting crowd of people.

It would be wonderful if this could happen everywhere across the various Anzac ceremonies, otherwise ANZAC Day is a joke.

PRINCE dead at 57

Prince at Coachella 001

This year has been crazy for losing musicians.  We all die but it is like the cream of the crop is kicking it at the same time.  Its true, its been one after another and sometimes two a day.

Prince was a legend.  A Gemini.  That explains so much of his multiple talents in the communication arena and the acting and music arena.  He was a dilettante with immense talent.

The entire world is in mourning again.  The loss of Prince Rogers Nelson will leave a huge gap in the music industry.  Presently I am listening to a tribute show being played by Miff Warhurst on Double J radio.  Its really beautiful and I would say this is happening all over the world right now as I type.

Here is When Doves Cry......  one of my old favorites.   Prince did things in the 70's and 80's that people are only just coming to now.  He was most definitely a unique soul.  I hope his soul is flying!

Glen Frey of the Eagles passes ... its a bit of a shock.

Glenn Frey has passed away at 67 just 8 days after David Bowie.  It is a bit of a shock to me because I am still reeling that our Bowie has left the planet so early as well.

Glenn Lewis Frey was an American singer, songwriter, producer and actor, best known as a founding member of rock band the Eagles. During the 1970s, Frey played guitar with the band, as well as piano and keyboards. Wikipedia

He Died:
January 18, 2016,  at New York City, New York, United States

I have a great love for all of the Eagles music and I especially love the 1976 epic Hotel California  album It gave me the smell of moving to the coast and move to the coast is what I did.   Thanks for that.

I pay tribute to this great musician who has played a huge role in the music of my life and for that I say thank you.  Good bye Glen .. you and David hurry back now.

Sorrow ... David Bowie passed away today.

Ziggy played his last guitar in this life on this day 10th of January 2016.   David Bowie was one of the most extraordinary artists of our modern era.  His memory will live on because he was legendary in all that he did.

David Bowie - Aladdin Sane

I grew up listening to David Bowie and remember how excited I was when I purchased Alladin Sane on vinyl all of those years ago.

DAVID BOWIE

The world is in mourning at the loss of such a loved person who was not old when he passed away from Cancer, he was only 69 years old.  Bowie had so much more to give but he obviously knew and had succumbed to the journey of death.

His final album "Blackstar"  is the twenty-fifth and final studio album by English musician David Bowie. It was released worldwide through Bowie's ISO Records label on 8 January 2016, Bowie's 69th birthday and two days ago just before his death.

Lots are saying there is an occulted message in this album.  Some are saying there is a message to the world from him about what the illuminati are up to.  Others say it heralds the coming of Nirbiru.   What ever people think it won't be overshadowed by the the incredulous final good bye from David Bowie - like he was saying good bye to all of us.    Go swiftly David .... your soul is needed back here fast.  You have shown how much you have learned and adapted to the challenges your life presented and how you changed this around and began to understand the Alchemy of change and how that is good for the soul.

I would like to think he was taken early because he already knew and his soul is need back here on Earth to help us usher in the new time we are going to be living through here on our tiny planet when everything changes very very quickly.  So go swiftly you awesome person - you have done well.

Farmer George has taken his life

This was terribly sad news to wake up to.  To hear that another farmer has taken his life and the motivation for doing this was the endless bullying from Csg companies.

Such a sad day in Australia the day George hung up his work boots for good and went to heaven in the name of fighting Csg in Australia, in particular Queensland where this madness has encroached upon so many in such a destructive way.    I am thinking firstly about the destruction of Land and Water and the land of special places for the first people here on this land.  Aboriginal sacred sites have been destroyed forever in the name of mining and now the second wave are feeling the heavy blucher boot of government psychopathy.

The article below is From Dayne Pratzky ... this was so well written I wanted to keep it because it says it all and I agree 100%.

George Bender - Photo Source Helen Bender
Last week Australia lost a true hero, George Bender.

In 2009 a small rag tag group of people joined forces under the banner of the Western Downs Alliance. The only thing we had in common was our will to stand up for our families and land from being destroyed by the coal seam gas industry.

Many in our own community turned their backs on us, we were shunned by the people in the town of Chinchilla and Tara. They didn’t want to be seen standing by us as we challenged the government and mining companies for the right to live peacefully. There were very few who didn’t criticize and ignore us. One of those who choose to stand by us was George Bender. George would get in his Land Cruiser and drive out to the estates and stand shoulder to shoulder with us as we battled a mining juggernaut.

George put his reputation at risk to try and help us. He didn’t care who we were, what he cared about was our families and the land beneath our feet.

George's family had been a part of the Chinchilla community for 150 years. The Bender family is well respected and well liked with a reputation for being good farmers and good people. Many in country Queensland look at reputation as everything but George threw all that away to help us in our fight for justice.

While George was helping us fight he was also waging a battle against Origin Energy as they wanted to put gas wells on his land. George refused to give Origin access, he told them to take a hike, they were not welcome on his land. The battle raged on for ten years. Slowly George was worn down. The will to keep Origin Energy off his land was as strong as ever but his will to continue the day to day conflict took its toll on George as a person. In the end, instead of being dragged through land court he decided he no longer wanted to watch the potential destruction of the farm which had taken five generations of his family's blood, sweat and tears to build.
On the 14th of October George took his own life. It's really important to note here that George said he was not depressed. He told his daughter, Helen, that he was heart broken.

Today George will be laid to rest in the town he loved until his last days. George leaves behind his wife Pam Bender, his daughter Helen Bender, four sons and many more grandchildren to all those above I extend much love and respect and send strength to you all at this difficult time. I also extend the same feeling to the Nothdurft family who were friends of George Bender and who are also in a battle for their very existence in a district they love.

I ask every person who reads this to keep ‪#‎GeorgeBenders‬ memory alive.

This is not over, not by a long shot. Today we will grieve tomorrow we will wage war! ‪#‎enoughisenough‬

Syrian children are dying... Our world is dying and we know it!

Governments who stand by and watch the pain and do nothing are the true criminals of the world.  These are the heartless who live and work among us on all lands.

These people are the true vessels of evil.  Allowing such as serious lie to be promulgated in the name of greed is despicable on all levels.

This poor little boy drowned and because I have this innate fear of drowning - I went to pieces.  I could barely bear how I felt.

This level of evil shows it is evident that there is truth in knowing our land is at an end as we know it.  The great cycle of change will strip the Universe bare of these evil creatures who have spawned evil and greed across the Mother.
 Rest Peacefully
Aylan Kurdi

When I saw this picture I was hit by chills, melancholy immersed in my heart. I do not understand this sorrow I am seeing. I just see that the Arab homeland is being destroyed and is leaving people with no choice. This poor child had to flee to find a safe place to live , but sadly the end of his life was in middle of the sea. Maybe death by sea is more merciful than to live in chaos. Syrian baby's corpse washed up on a Turkish beach.  Shame on all arab governments.

His name was Aylan. He was 3 years old, from war-torn Syria.  His final journey was supposed to end in sanctuary in Europe; instead it claimed his life and highlighted the plight of desperate people caught in the gravest refugee crisis since World War II.

Simon Passed Away . . . Swift Journey Home old friend..

Simon Eckersley ... a very colourful character indeed. He was a well known millionaire who lived across the road from our old house in Urunga in Morgo Street overlooking the ocean.   Simon loved to party and he lived a full life.  He ate good food and probably that is what preserved him this long while he carried on a very flamboyant lifestyle of partying and good times, music and friends.

He will be sadly missed from the area that is for sure.  A night out won't be the same with out Simon popping up in one of his outrageous outfits.  He was definitely a good fun person.

I hope his journey home to the Infinite is swift and full of light.  Good bye for now Simon  xxx

Killing days Sarifice of 100 years ago

 IMG 8906 Uncle Lewis's Fire

Sunday, 20 December 2015, marks 100 years since the last Australian troops evacuated Gallipoli  and this year they are going all out because it was century ago this occurred. It is a celebration of sacrifice no less.

This day in Gallipoli where so many men lost their lives in a veritable blood bath was apart of esoteric practices and this fate occurred during the eternal sacrifice days I have come to know as the Killing Days.

These days span from the 19th April to Walpurgisnacht on the 1st of May.  On the first of May people dance the Maypole corresponding to the truth of our existence.

Walpurgis Night is the English translation of Walpurgisnacht [valˈpʊʁɡɪsˌnaχt], one of the Dutch and German names for the night of 30 April, so called because it is the eve of the feast day of Saint Walpurga, an 8th-century abbess in Francia.

In medieval German folklore the evening preceding the feast day of St. Walpurgis, is when witches congregated, especially on the Brocken.

Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe's  FAUST  Pts one and two of Walpurgis Night
Summary
It has been nearly a year since Valentine's death and Faust has again abandoned Gretchen. Now it is Walpurgis Night (April 30th), the time of the annual gathering of witches and spirits at the top of the Brocken in the Harz Mountains (located in central Germany) to celebrate a satanic orgy. The mountain top is covered with swarms of demons dancing and singing. The tension rises to a mad crescendo of evil as Mephisto guides Faust through his fiendish assembly, introducing him to all the infernal spirits of medieval legend, and inducing him to participate in their rites. While coupled in an erotic dance with a young female witch, Faust suddenly notices a mouse coming out of his partner's mouth. The shock of this causes him to remember Gretchen. He has a vision of her in chains, becomes distressed, and starts to wander away. Mephistopheles immediately springs into action. He gives a fanciful interpretation of the vision and tries to distract Faust by leading him to a theatre on the mountainside.
Analysis
Faust has been brought to the Walpurgis celebration to complete his degradation and make permanent his lapse from morality. This episode can be interpreted symbolically as the descent into Hell promised in the "Prelude in the Theatre." The atmosphere of the scene is one of evil, black magic, and fantastic confusion. The witches and demons that Faust encounters are incarnations of all the many facets of evil. Their characterizations or satanic functions mirror many earlier incidents in the poem and bring home a bitter lesson to Faust about the true nature of his "new life." Here on the mountain Faust is made to face the awful reality of his own degeneration, but at the last moment his moral sensibility makes a final effort to assert itself. He remembers Gretchen and the love for her which was his first real participation in life.

Mothballs - the case for moths and people and APOPTOSIS or PCD

English: Mothballs
English: Mothballs (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

CELL SUICIDE  or Programmed Cell Death or PCD as it has been shortened to, sounds awful but its one of the most necessary things that has to occur for life to continue.

I have been looking at life through the eyes of planets and the eyes of the tiniest cells to see the commonality to these and humanity.   What I have gleaned is this;  'death' is not what we have been made or trained or led to believe it is.

All of lives we are taught to fear death and to discuss death or plan anything about it is considered uncool.  I think this is because people become very uncomfortable due to this past programming.

Some people even lie to their loved ones and keep from them the facts about their health or the facts of their impending death.  People need to know they are dying so they can prepare.  This action by friends and relatives does not allow proper cell suicide to occur in the person dying.  People need to give their loved ones permission to die if dying has been a taboo.  A taboo never really helped anyone.

In Memory of a dead loved person - Steven Campbell
The article I read below on facebook regarding 'Mothballs" was interesting because I was a lover of Moth Balls.  Not because I like toxic things but because it reminded me of my childhood and the exciting smell of winter jumpers coming down from the high cupboard and blankets packed away and the end of summer.

I had no idea it played a role in interrupting normal cell death.  This is quite serious.  Moth balls are not so much an issue today as much as "Air Fresheners" and "Fresh Blocks" and Toilet sprays could be.
People here in Australia hardly use mothballs and they are difficult to purchase.

Its just not the done thing, people no longer store their winter things for long term.  Consumerism has given way to buying brand news ones.  It has changed to how things were done in the past and jumpers are no longer stored in the same fashion as when we were young.

"At the cellular level, death is essential for life.  Apoptosis, sometimes called "cellular suicide," is a normal, programmed process of cellular self-destruction. Even though it involves cell death, apoptosis serves a healthy and protective role in our bodies"  Live Science

There is  hardly a case to use these anymore now is there.  I just didn't know the science the ingredients of the balls.
Mothballs, air fresheners and cancer

What do mothballs and some air fresheners have in common? They both contain chemical compounds which are carcinogenic. Mothballs and some air fresheners contain the chemicals paradichlorobenzene (PCDB) and naphthalene. A recent study from the University of Colorado has pinpointed why these chemicals can cause cancer. Both chemicals have been found to block apoptosis, the normal process of “cell suicide”.
Labelled diagram of a cell undergoing apoptosi...

“Apoptosis serves as a checking mechanism to ensure that the right amount of cells are generated in the body,” said Dr. Ding Xue who headed the research team. In Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinsons’s disease, too much apoptosis is occurring, while in cancer and autoimmune disorders, too little apoptosis occurs, he explained. The study showed that both chemicals blocked enzymes which initiated apoptosis.

Understanding how carcinogenic compounds can trigger tumor growth is important for federal regulatory agencies that deal with human exposure to hazardous chemicals, said Xue.

More than 1 million pounds of naphthalene and PDCB are used by consumers annually. The chemicals are most commonly found in solid toilet block deodorizers, solid and spray air fresheners, and moth balls and crystals. One company describes its product this way,

Closet Freshener block is made of pure Paradichlorobenzene crystals and top quality fragrance pressed into large 275 gram rectangles with a hanger built right in. When the cellophane wrapper is slit or removed, the "para-zene" begins to evaporate, releasing a clean fresh scent. Our assorted pack contains Lavender, Summer Potpourri, Pine, and Cedar.

Parachlorodibenzene is a pesticide. The US EPA requires that moth repellent products containing paradichlorobenzene bear warnings such as "avoid breathing vapors" to warn users of potential short-term toxic effects. Yet paradichlorobenzene is also the key active ingredient in many air fresheners. Paradichlorobenzene is also an eye irritant and, according to the US National Toxicology Program, possibly causes reproductive damage.

The Janitor’s Product Pollution Prevention Project places PCBD in the category “Do Not Use - Severe Health Risk to Janitor and Building Occupants.”

Naphthalene and PDCB have been shown to cause cancer in rodents and are classified by the National Toxicology Program and the International Association for Research on Carcinogens as potential human carcinogens. However, their biochemistry has not been well understood, said Xue.

The methodology used in the study may mark a scientific breakthrough in determining whether other chemicals may cause cancer in humans. " For the first time, we have developed a systematic way to screen virtually any potential cancer-causing chemical that may affect humans using these nematodes as animal models, " said Hue.

The study was published in the June 2006 issue of Nature Chemical Biology.
So there you are, the entire story on Mothballs and Air Fresheners and Chemicals that cause Apoptosis.    I also liked finding out that Necrosis is traumatic cell death which is not preferable over Apoptosis which is required for proper cell function.  Further to that if you want a natural way of getting rid of certain annoying bugs use this :
Soak orange peels in vinegar for two weeks in a sealed mason jar. Then pour the vinegar into a spray bottle. Use for cleaning or bug spray. This is great for ants!
IMG 8816 Homie had a flower!
A flower for a day and then its gone... Apoptosis made this possible.
AGL and the Fracking... recently Mike Moraza head of Up Stream Gas said the chemicals are under the sink.  Well with these findings about normal under your sink chemicals, Moraza's sink cupboard of chemicals are looking more dodgy each day.

Noel Pearson delivered Goughs Eulogy ... The Abbott was booed!

Noel Pearson
Noel Pearson (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Noel Pearson's eulogy for Gough Whitlam praised as one for the ages and Paul Keating said the reward for public life is public progress.

For one born estranged from the nation's citizenship, into a humble family of a marginal people striving in the teeth of poverty and discrimination, today it is assuredly no longer the case.

This because of the equalities of opportunities afforded by the Whitlam program.

Raised next to the wood heap of the nation's democracy, bequeathed no allegiance to any political party, I speak to this old man's legacy with no partisan brief.  Rather, my signal honour today on behalf of more people than I could ever know, is to express our immense gratitude for the public service of this old man.

Noel Pearson delivers his tribute to Gough Whitlam at the memorial service at Sydney Town Hall.

I once took him on a tour to my village and we spoke about the history of the mission and my youth under the government of his nemesis, Queensland Premier Joh Bjelke-Petersen.

My home was an Aboriginal reserve under a succession of Queensland laws commencing in 1897.
These laws were notoriously discriminatory and the bureaucratic apparatus controlling the reserves maintained vigil over the smallest details concerning its charges.
Superintendents held vast powers and a cold and capricious bureaucracy presided over this system for too long in the 20th century.

In June 1975, the Whitlam government enacted the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Queensland Discriminatory Laws Act.
The law put to purpose the power conferred upon the Commonwealth Parliament by the 1967 referendum, finally outlawing the discrimination my father and his father lived under since my grandfather was removed to the mission as a boy and to which I was subject [for] the first 10 years of my life.

Powers regulating residency on reserves without a permit, the power of reserve managers to enter private premises without the consent of the householder, legal representation and appeal from court decisions, the power of reserve managers to arbitrarily direct people to work, and the terms and conditions of employment, were now required to treat Aboriginal Queenslanders on the same footing as other Australians.

We were at last free from those discriminations that humiliated and degraded our people.
Gough Whitlam
Gough Whitlam (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
The companion to this enactment, which would form the architecture of indigenous human rights akin to the Civil Rights Act 1965 in the United States, was the Racial Discrimination Act.
It was in Queensland under Bjelke-Petersen that its importance became clear.

In 1976, a Wik man from Aurukun on the western Cape York Peninsula, John Koowarta, sought to purchase the Archer Bend pastoral lease from its white owner. The Queensland government refused the sale. The High Court's decision in Koowarta versus Bjelke-Petersen upheld the Racial Discrimination Act as a valid exercise of the external affairs powers of the Commonwealth.
However, in an act of spite, the Queensland Government converted the lease into the Acher Bend National Park.

Old man Koowarta died a broken man, the winner of a landmark High Court precedent but the victim of an appalling discrimination.

The Racial Discrimination Act was again crucial in 1982 when a group of Murray Islanders led by Eddie Mabo claimed title under the common law to their traditional homelands in the Torres Strait.
In 1985 Bjelke-Petersen sought to kill the Murray Islanders' case by enacting a retrospective extinguishment of any such title.

There was no political or media uproar against Bjelke-Petersen's law. There was no public condemnation of the state's manouevre. There was no redress anywhere in the democratic forums or procedures of the state or the nation.

If there were no Racial Discrimination Act that would have been the end of it. Land rights would have been dead, there would never have been a Mabo case in 1992, there would have been no Native Title Act under Prime Minister Keating in 1993.

Without this old man the land and human rights of our people would never have seen the light of day.
There would never have been Mabo and its importance to the history of Australia would have been lost without the Whitlam program.

Only those who have known discrimination truly know its evil. Only those who have never experienced prejudice can discount the importance of the Racial Discrimination Act.

This old man was one of those rare people who never suffered discrimination but understood the importance of protection from its malice.

On this day we will recall the repossession of the Gurindji of Wave Hill, when the Prime Minister said, "Vincent Lingiari, I solemnly hand to you these deeds as proof in Australian law that these lands belong to the Gurindji people and I put into your hands this piece of earth itself as a sign that we restore them to you and your children forever."

It was this old man's initiative with the Woodward Royal Commission that led to Prime Minister Fraser's enactment of the Aboriginal Land Rights Northern Territory Act, legislation that would see more than half of the territory restored to its traditional owners.

Of course recalling the Whitlam Government's legacy has been, for the past four decades since the dismissal, a fraught and partisan business. Assessments of those three highly charged years and their aftermath divide between the nostalgia and fierce pride of the faithful, and the equally vociferous opinion that the Whitlam years represented the nadir of national government in Australia. Let me venture a perspective.

The Whitlam government is the textbook case of reform trumping management. In less than three years an astonishing reform agenda leapt off the policy platform and into legislation and the machinery and programs of government.

The country would change forever. The modern cosmopolitan Australia finally emerged like a technicolour butterfly from its long dormant chrysalis.
And 38 years later we are like John Cleese, Eric Idle and Michael Palin's Jewish insurgents ranting against the despotic rule of Rome, defiantly demanding "and what did the Romans ever do for us anyway?"

Apart from Medibank and the Trade Practices Act, cutting tariff protections and no-fault divorce in the Family Law Act, the Australia Council, the Federal Court, the Order of Australia, federal legal aid, the Racial Discrimination Act, needs-based schools funding, the recognition of China, the abolition of conscription, the law reform commission, student financial assistance, the Heritage Commission, non-discriminatory immigration rules, community health clinics, Aboriginal land rights, paid maternity leave for public servants, lowering the minimum voting age to 18 years and fair electoral boundaries and Senate representation for the territories.

Apart from all of this, what did this Roman ever do for us?

And the Prime Minister with that classical Roman mien, one who would have been as naturally garbed in a toga as a safari suit, stands imperiously with twinkling eyes and that slight self-mocking smile playing around his mouth, in turn infuriating his enemies and delighting his followers.
There is no need for nostalgia and yearning for what might have been.

The achievements of this old man are present in the institutions we today take for granted and played no small part in the progress of modern Australia. There is no need to regret three years was too short. Was any more time needed? The breadth and depth of the reforms secured in that short and tumultuous period were unprecedented, and will likely never again be repeated.

The devil-may-care attitude to management as opposed to reform is unlikely to be seen again by governments whose priorities are to retain power rather than reform.

The Whitlam program as laid out in the 1972 election platform consisted three objectives: to promote equality, to involve the people of Australia in the decision-making processes of our land, and to liberate the talents and uplift the horizons of the Australian people.

This program is as fresh as it was when first conceived. It scarcely could be better articulated today.
Who would not say the vitality of our democracy is a proper mission of government and should not be renewed and invigorated.
Who can say that liberating the talents and uplifting the horizons of Australians is not a worthy charter for national leadership?

It remains to mention the idea of promoting equality. My chances in this nation were a result of the Whitlam program. My grandparents and parents could never have imagined the doors that opened to me which were closed to them.

I share this consciousness with millions of my fellow Australians whose experiences speak in some way or another to the great power of distributed opportunity.

I don't know why someone with this old man's upper middle class background could carry such a burning conviction that the barriers of class and race of the Australia of his upbringing and maturation should be torn down and replaced with the unapologetic principle of equality.

I can scarcely point to any white Australian political leader of his vintage and of generations following of whom it could be said without a shadow of doubt, he harboured not a bone of racial, ethnic or gender prejudice in his body.

This was more than urbane liberalism disguising human equivocation and private failings; it was a modernity that was so before its time as to be utterly anachronistic.
For people like me who had no chance if left to the means of our families we could not be more indebted to this old man's foresight and moral vision for universal opportunity.
Only those born bereft truly know the power of opportunity. Only those accustomed to its consolations can deprecate a public life dedicated to its furtherance and renewal. This old man never wanted opportunity himself but he possessed the keenest conviction in its importance.

For it behoves the good society through its government to ensure everyone has chance and opportunity.  This is where the policy convictions of Prime Minister Whitlam were so germane to the uplift of many millions of Australians.

We salute this old man for his great love and dedication to his country and to the Australian people. When he breathed he truly was Australia's greatest white elder and friend without peer of the original Australians.
