1. Do not write long sentences. A sentence should not have more than ten or twelve words.

2. Each sentence should make a clear statement. It should add to the statement that went before. A good paragraph is a series of clear, linked statements.

3. Do not use big words. If your computer tells you that your average word is more than five letters long, there is something wrong. The use of small words compels you to think about what you are writing. Even difficult ideas can be broken down into small words.

4. Never use words whose meaning you are not sure of. If you break this rule you should look for other work.

5. The beginner should avoid using adjectives, except those of colour, size and number. Use as few adverbs as possible.

6. Avoid the abstract. Always go for the concrete.

7. Every day, for six months at least, practice writing in this way. Small words; short, clear, concrete sentences. It may be awkward, but it’s training you in the use of language. It may even be getting rid of the bad language habits you picked up at the university. You may go beyond these rules after you have thoroughly understood and mastered them.

Defining an Adverb

An adverb is a word that describes - or modifies, as grammarians put it - a verb, an adjective or another adverb.

• A verb is an action word (jump, run, swim, ski, fish, talk)
• An adjective is a descriptive word that describes a noun (pretty, happy, silly, sunny)
• A noun is a person, place or thing (girl, dog, mum)

Don't Stop Handwriting, or typing or thinking.

Using our keyboards saves us lots of precious time, but writing by hand has lots of benefits.

Researchers have shown that children who know how to write by hand learn to read faster. They are also better at retaining information and coming up with new ideas. Science Alert

“When we write, a unique neural circuit is automatically activated. There is a core recognition of the gesture in the written word, a sort of recognition by mental simulation in your brain,” Stanislas Dehaene, a psychologist at the Collège de France in Paris, told The New York Times.

Taking notes by hand can help you learn faster and better—you should try it next time you have an exam or need to deliver a presentation. Studies suggest this is due to the fact that one needs to process and reframe all the information before writing it down. “We don’t write longhand as fast as we type these days, but people who were typing just tended to transcribe large parts of lecture content verbatim,” Pam Mueller, teaching assistant at Princeton University, in the US, told The Atlantic.

The system of temurah known as Aiq Bekar divides the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet into a grid of 9 chambers with their numerical values:

This grid is then used as the template from which to permutate words, which are either expanded or minimized.

 

In Hebrew, the word for man is ADM, adam. This is not an individual man, rather it represents humanity as a whole, mankind. The Hebrew letters enumerate to the number 45.

Using the Aiq Bekar grid, the word ADM may be permuted into the word AMTh (emeth), which means Truth and has the value of 441.

Using this system, the Kabalah indicates that Man embodies Truth, and that Truth is in fact in Man.
 The  pentagram symbol also appears in Egyptian hieroglyphics, associated with the Goddess Sopdet, who was represented in the night sky by the brightest star, Sirius, the so called Dog Star in the constellation of Canis Major

Origin

The Oriya script developed from the Kalinga script, one of the many descendents of the Brahmi script of ancient India. The earliest known inscription in the Oriya language, in the Kalinga script, dates from 1051.
The curved appearance of the Oriya script is a result of the practice of writing on palm leaves, which have a tendency to tear if you use too many straight lines.
Notable features

• Type of writing system: syllabic alphabet in which all consonants have an inherent vowel. Diacritics, which can appear above, below, before or after the consonant they belong to, are used to change the inherent vowel.
• When they appear the the beginning of a syllable, vowels are written as independent letters.
• When certain consonants occur together, special conjunct symbols are used which combine the essential parts of each letter.
• Direction of writing: left to right in horizontal lines.

Used to write:
Oriya, an Indo-Aryan language spoken by about 31 million people mainly in the Indian state of Orissa, and also in West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Gujarat. Oriya is closely related to Bengali and Assamese.
Also used to write a number of the other languages spoken in Orissa and Sanskrit.

Braman Arayan language.  This distinction is very important to be aware of.  This is one of the languages of the motherland.
  The Arayan were Mother Goddess orientated in their worship and the Brahman were more male orientated.  They combined their cultures in the north of India the Arayan coming from the lower part of Russia and just east of Iran.
Another interesting walk through a language and culture was that of the Oriya.  "Oriah" means light of God in Hebrew, and these two words are so close in existence.  They think they it is red indian and I know that perhaps it was these earlier cultures that were calling the lady Oriah Mountain Dreamer.  Perhaps it was these Oriya.
