I decided to keep this excellent commentary from my friend Mr Forsythe because I found it to be extremely informative.

The USA makes shitloads (stacks) of money from Australia. Way more than some pathetic 3 billion you claim we get from the US. 

British and Americans own the majority of Australian resources - about 85%. They consistently pay NO TAX on these energy and mineral resources - and when we tried to tax them they literally over threw our government via advertising or use the CIA to overthrow our government (Gough Whitlam).

America corporations have taken over our public service with consulting and auditing firms - who also advise other American firms how to not pay tax - resulting in literally HUNDREDS of BILLIONS in lost revenue to the US while also costing us hundreds of billions in revenue to pay for our own public service.

While things like the ABS are outsourced to the US firms like IBM - who can't even run our census - zero accountability.

How about our ENTIRE national fiber broad band network being literally destroyed by an American so his company can continue to reap massive profits - the Prime Minister of our country announced the destruction of the NBN from fucking Fox Studios.

Companies like Raytheon are literally running our military while we have US military all over our country.

We are a vassal state which is forced into terrible trade deals which cost thousands of lives protecting US IP laws on pharmaceuticals while countries like India pay cents - we're buying next to USELESS US military hardware and are endlessly forced into sending Australian men and women to DIE for US political interests.

DISCLOSE the TPP

 

Wikileaks has put a bounty on the opening of this treaty and the full disclosure to be made public.  This is by all accounts a stitch up by those strategically placed to make such decisions in government so as to steer this into existence.

It did not start last week or last year and it could be said it started in a time many try to forget.  I think that would be the truth because for all time these same families have benefited from this endemic corruption of society and its belief system and how this can be traded and used to create wealth and sponge off the poor in society.

Wikileaks has released three chapters of the TPP documents which was procured through leaks and this present bounty is an encouragement for more leaks to happen on the remaining 26 chapters so they too can be made public as this is a matter of world safety.

I think the Abbott government who are holding power in the Australian Federal Parliament are highly suspect in putting this deal into action and trying to fast track parts of this.  They crow about this and that and fly off to talk fests regarding the trade agreements we know nothing about until after its done.  Look at the recent Berry Scandal.. proof they tell the public nothing we need to hear. 

Australians would like to be told the truth about the deal but truth is its all bad and all of this is a dark as the darkest night and its specifically designed to make private corporations the world bosses so to speak.

Trans Pacific Trade is death to reality as we know it.

Take this stuff off the table, its been around since 2006 and its the reason everything is so bad.

About the TPP negotiations

The government’s highest regional trade negotiation priority is the conclusion of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP). This agreement will build on the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (P4) between Brunei Darussalam, Chile, New Zealand and Singapore, which entered into force in 2006.
The TPP includes the P4 Parties as well as Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, the USA and Vietnam.
The Australian Government will pursue a TPP outcome that eliminates or at least substantially reduces barriers to trade and investment. The TPP is more than a traditional trade agreement; it will also deal with behind-the-border impediments to trade and investment.
It is intended that the TPP be a living agreement that remains relevant to emerging issues and allows for membership expansion. While expanded membership of the TPP is desirable, those seeking membership would need to demonstrate commitment to early and comprehensive liberalisation so as to maintain the momentum that has been generated by existing TPP parties.
Australia's decision to participate in the TPP in 2008 followed an extensive public consultation process. Overall, there was widespread interest in and support for Australia's participation in the TPP. Input received through the consultation process is being used to inform the Government's priorities and objectives for Australia's ongoing work on the TPP.

Key interests and benefits

• The TPP has the potential to form a building block for Asia-Pacific regional economic integration. It is in Australia’s interests to be involved in order to shape the direction of the initiative.
• Regional rules of origin will provide new opportunities for Australian exporters to tap into global supply chains.
• The TPP could provide additional market access for goods and services into the markets of existing FTA and future TPP partners.
• Inclusion of Investment and Financial Services chapters in the TPP could provide improved opportunities for Australian financial services providers by mitigating barriers, such as foreign restrictions on capital and investment flows.



• The TPP provides a framework for engaging with Peru, a country with which we do not have an existing bilateral trade arrangement. In particular there is potential for better access for dairy products and mining services to Peru.

On reading more and more about this I find that this is all about  making us all like the USA.  I am against this in unison with many others.

The TPP Agreement  Asia-Pacific trade agreement that reflects U.S. priorities and values”.  The the draft text remains largely secret, the outline indicates that the agreement is wide-ranging, covering some 20 areas, including competition, customs, e-commerce, intellectual property, investment, industrial relations, and trade according to Matther Rimmer. I think we have enough on our plates with the mining issues and now we have this as well.  I am feeling very overwhelmed with the world and its heartless practices that are all economically based and the facts they say that fix things don't fix anything.  This makes rich people richer!  This is the end result and I am afraid you will not change my mind because it is the biggest threat to free speech and intellectual property ever seen before.
