So... Dog kisses might be good for our wholistic health!

IMG 7650 Hello from Phoenix
Our smiling Phoenix!
I have never doubted the fact that dogs are good for us.  It is the reason why I had always wanted a dog in my life.  I had read before they could remedy the symptoms of PTSD.  I was unable to have a dog of my own until eight years ago.  Life looked more positive in a lot of ways when she (Phoenix)  came into my life.

This beautiful girl pictured is Phoenix and she came into my life with my new partner and a new relationship.

Phoenix likes to give me a kisses always but  purposely two times a day before she leaves to go for a walk she comes to give me a good bye kiss.  When she is ready for a walk she is full of excitement and she is told to "Be Gentle and kiss Mum".

She gives me such a lovely lick goodbye and looks at me with her big brown eyes with excitement as though she is saying "See you when I get back".

I have not been sick for the eight years since she has been in my life.  I was putting this down to onion bottoms [to plant] left on the bench to dry (reputed to ward off illnesses).

I now wonder it is having a dog.  As I type this we are on my bed and she loves to be near me.  When I am sad she sticks very close to me and its undeniable this makes me feel better.  Her kisses will be so much more acceptable now we know they may have some pro-biotic value to health.

Since laying down with her when she nearly died of a tick and her communicating to me exactly where the tick was hiding after we had all tried endlessly in vain to locate the ghastly parasite proved to me that we can communicate on a level where Love is the channel to use.
I love you Phoenix, thank you for being my beautiful dog.  Thank you for loving me the way you do.  It is an honour to have you in my life.

Goodbye Lucy, my friend ... I hope you love your new home!

This is Lucy, she was Ian's dog  I loved heaps and who I thought loved me too, she acted like she did.  Anyway I always wanted to take her myself if I was in a place to be able to do that if Ian wanted to give her a new home away from horses. Yesterday I found she has moved on and has gone on a journey now with Ian's friend Dave.  I just wanted to say Good bye here in this post because I truly loved her.  Thanks for the cuddles Lucy!

MRI's tells us about Canine Brain activity!

Phoenix eyeballing me
What an absolutely fascinating article about dog brain activity, behaviour and dog feelings.   Mostly all of what is in this article below we have experienced with our dog.  I had only said two days ago when she was watching like she was listening to me talk to my partner.  I flashed a look at her and said half jokingly, "What are you thinking about this Phoenix".  I then said to my partner I often wonder what she is thinking.

This new research reveals a lot of interesting things.   Our dog frets terribly in storms and comes for us to be with us and so that is also like a child as is said in the research.  Our dog feels earthquakes 2 hours flight away in New Zealand and behaves the same as when there is a storm outside and there isn't a cloud in the sky but she feels NZ quakes.  I think she is amazing.

Read Full article here: "Brain Scans Reveal What Dogs Really Think of Us"

So when your dog looks into your eyes they way they do, now you know that they are telling you the only way they can besides mental impressions, they love you very much.  Reading this made me feel very warm inside.

Political language... is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.

George Orwell..

It is a new month.  Another chance perhaps to get things right.  The month of September has a lot of memories for me.  I am sort of glad this September month is over and looky looky, October is here now.  Whoa where has 2012 gone?

For me I have spent most of it doing extremely extensive study.  So many things all at once.  This becomes a little overwhelming but the kind of thing I love.  I need constant change to feel ok in the world and I love to see transformation.  I look for it and therefore even house work is fun to me.

Everything in this existence that we can see and some that we cannot is all governed by sound waves.  Sound moves great objects and small.  I am going to write about my own thoughts on this sound energy.  It is in nature.  It is all around us and its in tiny minute particles of everything from the tiniest amoeba to the largest animal you can imagine.

Dogs have an amazing capacity to pick up sounds.  The messages on the breeze.
I love this subject so much.  I want to start with the a biblical quote from the very beginning of the bible where it says - In the beginning there was the word  and the word was God.  That is 1John 1:1

Now that is sound, that word mentioned there.  Its the biblical version of events.  They tidied it up a bit.
Its all about what God said,  if God said it then this was sound.  Sound is responsible.  Our DNA can be likened to musical signatures or musical notes.  There is a similar number coding.

Genesis 1:14  New International Version (©1984)

And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years.

Soundwave is a festival promoted by Triple J the radio station,  I would love to go to that.  Just saying.
I always say that as people we are just beings of light, light is sound and therefore we are beings who are governed also by the sounds we hear.  I understand how the senses of a profoundly deaf person are heightened in other areas.  The body is an amazing piece of work.

Our Dog is a constant and loving friend.

She spent the night in the veterinary Surgery and was almost no longer with us.  A paralysis tick was lodged in between her toes on her front foot.  It was well camouflaged and it hid from us well.  We had looked for two days to find it.  I prayed and asked please show me and she licked her paw and that is where I  looked for it straight away!

IMG 4782 In the nick of time.

I was very shaken by this and a panic washed over me.  My Jupiter moment is supposed to be really good luck and not bad luck!   As things turn out, it was good luck really as I found the tick and got her to the Vet and got her medicine to make her better.

We were never going to be ready for the account which is very high.  The price being governed by the price of the anti venom and this makes it expensive.  It was not a decision it was just do it.  But I thought I might add the price of the medicine.  I am just glad there is medicine for a start.  They said she was a couple of hours off death.

Lost old Fellah!

We were awoken by this fellah, he was lost and he needed to find his owners.  I took a couple of photographs of him and he was very obliging.  Brice smelled him, he was very clean and had not long ago had a bath.
The afternoon rolled around and the owners came by and all was fine.

THE BROWN DOG AFFAIR - FOUR

AND SO WE COME TO FOUR..  the numeral and also day four in the same name as the infamous:
BROWN DOG AFFAIR....In 1903 in London, an anonymous brown dog was subjected over the course of several months to repeated live surgery described by witnesses to one instance as having been conducted without anesthetization of the dog in a laboratory and before students in a lecture hall of a London medical school. All this was done in the name of science before the dog was finally killed. More information - The Brown Dog Affair

Just saying...

A perfect pangram in the English language contains every letter of the alphabet only once and can be considered an anagram of the alphabet.
ie: "the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog"

Four - Four is the Tetragrammaton four-letter name of God. Yod He Vau He
