Got Gas

Got Gas: An interesting day planned and one that will be successful and answering people's questions regarding the big question mark that surrounds Csg with a lot of ordinary hard working folks. These folks are seen as asleep by those that know more.  However, I see them as the "Great Brainwashed".  These are the folks who still believe in fairy tales like our government cares about us as people.  Now there is a big one right there.
Some still believe our governments would never hurt us intentionally.  Well it is time to wake up from that nap because its time to act.  The time for sleeping was yesterday and the time for action is now.

Moving fast in 2013

Trends are showing for 2013 and it already shows much more use of social media and access to buying online.  It must be the instant way of dealing with it that is the attraction.  I think that it is a convenient way to get those things that are difficult to get at the right price but I like shopping and looking at products.
If this keeps going there will be no need for shops in the future.  We will simply open an online catalogue and order right there.   Wow life really is changing fast now.

The Mighty Clarence
This is a picture of an old house in the Clarence Valley, constructed when times were not moving as fast as they are today as we sped past the signs of that past time that has now long gone like this house is.

DIRECT ACTION REQUIRED NOW ...

IMG 6863 Glenugie Action against Csg
The land where Metgasco are working on preparing to drill is situated in the beautiful Coldstream Wetlands, in the Clarence Valley, just south of Grafton NSW.
The property is owned by an 'absentee landholder' so the owner doesn't actually live/work on the property.

Many of the surrounding land holders have Lock the Gate triangles up on their fences and so much of the community is outraged, and opposing Metgasco.

Please join with us in solidarity at this peaceful protest.
We are THE ONLY RESCUE TEAM.
The mood is empowering, come and add your energy to this, history making event and if you cannot, then please nudge everyone else to.

There is space on the roadside to park cars - on the strip between the tar road and the property fence lines. There is a safe camping area on private property about 800m away.

BRING WATER, FOOD, ICE & SHADE.
& PLEASE DRIVE SAFE.

Police are at a coal seam gas (CSG) blockade at Glenugie south of Grafton.
About 50 local residents and supporters from across the Clarence Valley are blocking access to a Metgasco drill site. The company is preparing to do further work on site in preparation for extracting CSG.
Lynette Eggins is at the protest site and said drilling trucks have been stopped by protesters sitting in chairs blocking access to the site. "They're not happy about Metgasco coming in to drill in their area," she said. "They are here to protect their land, air and water from the toxic industry. 'They know that the industry is not safe, it's risky and the industry has no community support.

Metgasco had promised to notify people in the region before any activity took place, but nothing had been provided.
