Happy Birthday Texsy . . you would have been 35 today.

IMG 2568
A number plate I saw in Dalby as I was talking about Texsy with Suzanna
Brice and I lit a candle for our friends memory and Gail and I had a drink for her birthday.  It wasn't actually a happy time.  But we talked of our memories and as usual it always ends up the same as we spiral down into the painful circumstances of why she isn't here with us to celebrate her own awesome birthday.  Our Leo friend was taken way too early to be with the creator spirit.  She was run over by a drunk who was then acquitted of her murder.
Today is Texsy's day though and we treated today just like she was here the best we could.  I will always miss her so much.  I tinge with anger at the entire situation and wish people would not have been so pig headed about things I knew about that I tried to warn them about.  Pride is a sad thing and it is pride that is the sole reason why our Texsy is not here.  We love you Tex  ... always in our hearts.

Russell Morris - The Relative Truth

RussellMorris1.jpg
Russell Morris in 2013
Russell Norman Morris (born 31 July 1948) is an Australian singer-songwriter who had five Australian Top 10 singles during the late 1960s and early 1970s.  My friend Texsy who was killed accidentally was born on Russell Morris's Birthday when he was 38 years old.  Forever I will remember when his birthday is now!

Morris' career started at the age of 18, in September 1966. On 1 July 2008, the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) recognized Morris' iconic status when he was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.

In 1973, Morris moved to London to record an album only to discover there was no record contract waiting for him. He relocated to New York and set to work on an album there, including new versions of both "Sweet Sweet Love" and "Wings of an Eagle" and the single "Let's Do It".

A second American album appeared in 1976. It was two more years before Morris was granted his green card, enabling him to tour America. But by then, any chance of an American career had bolted. Instead, Morris returned to a very different Australia than the one he had left behind five years earlier.

Russell Morris that I loved in the 1960's

Another clear case of people from this time not getting the opportunities they should have had afforded to them because of their obvious talent.  I too feel the same way regarding being a parent and being a child.  When I was a child we had to respect our parents or else, these days the children have no respect for their parents and so we had it so tough from our parents and now we are being bashed by our own children as well.  This is the era I grew up in.

The Chords and Lyrics for "WINGS OF AN EAGLE"

Am G
Well I'm lookin out at an overcast sky in the morning
Am G D
And I hear the warning as it calls to you
       Am
As the birds migrate and the wind is raised
      G
I'll see the eagle soaring
Am G D
Although I just a pawn in natures game like you
G Am D
Wa hoo, Wa hoo, Wa hoo oo

Chorus
   G Am
On the wings of an eagle I find myself lifted through the skies
C D G
Lifted up above the world to see
G Am
On the wings of an eagle I find myself lifted through the skies
C D G
Lifted up above the world to see
            Am D
Can you see me, can you see me

Am
As the days roll on and the nights get long
    G
The changing of the seasons
Am G D
And the falling Autumn leaves they bring me down
              Am D
They bring me down, they bring me down

Break by Am, G, Am, G/D, Am, G, Am, G, Am, G/D, G/D

       Am
Do you lose your way in the middle of the day.
       G
Do you see your brother crawling
    Am G D
And all the while he’s calling out for help from you
G Am
On the wings of an eagle I find myself lifted through the skies
C D G
Lifted up above the world to sing
G Am D
Whaa hoo, whaa, hoo, whaa hooooo-oo

Chorus
   G Am
On the wings of an eagle I find myself lifted through the skies
C D G
Lifted up above the world to see
G Am
On the wings of an eagle I find myself lifted through the skies
C D G
Lifted up above the world to see
            Am D
Can you see me, can you see me

Finish on Am, G, Am, G/D, Am, G, Am, G, Am, G/D, G/D

Happy Birthday Texsy

Texsy would have been thirty four years old today if she wasn't run over by a maniac back a couple of years ago now.

Today I thought about her and thought how she had been showing me that her spirit is alive and well and recently I saw this in Dalby when we were away.  I think Tex would have loved what we are doing trying to save the precious water and that her spirit lives every single time I touch this part of our reality.

Injustice and Justice and how the Universe responds to this.

“To sin by silence, when they should protest, makes cowards of men.”
~ Ella Wheeler Wilcox ~

IMG 9462
Everything in the universe has a rational response. (The Ferryman we have to pay)
Therefore, if a person gains through evil some profit, security or success then he or she is ultimately going to have to pay for this profit in some shape or form.

Profit from evil is a misuse of energy and moral payment is required and this occurs because all of the mysterious energy levels around us have a high ethical standing and they permit no misuse of any natural force or combination or pattern of forces with out consequential punishment or payment.

Energy is moral and ethical and it helps to remember that this must not be wasted! Attitude is responsible for this mysterious energy conservation that promotes health and well being. Cleanse your Aegean Stable today.

Augean Stable :  The Greek Mythological Hero Heracles was given twelve 'impossible' tasks to perform. These are called the Twelve Labours of Hercules. (Of course, he completed them all).

The fifth labour was to clean the stables of Augeas, king of Elis.

Augeas had an enormous herd of divine cattle. These produced an unimaginably huge quantity of dung, and no-one had ever succeeded in cleaning their byre. (Heracles was given only one day).

Cleaning the Augean stables is proverbial: it means a job so dirty and so huge that no-one can hope to succeed at it. (Except maybe Heracles).

A new Memorial Cross for Texsy .... R.I.P. my love.

If someone can make you laugh when you're about to cry, don't give up on them. They're the true meaning of happiness.
~ Nishan Panwar ~

Yesterday we traveled up to Bellingen out on Waterfall Way and parked the car and dug the hole and put in the most beautiful piece of love.  A cross for Texsy bearing a plaque with her name and the inscription "Ride the Lightening"

IMG 9662 Texsy's Memorial Cross
My facebook post about the day when I came back .....

Today . . at least the sun was shining and the flowers were pretty and a chook came down to say hello and have a look. Texsy most certainly was there when the chook turned up. A few months ago the original memorial cross was wiped out and busted up when someone else ran off the road in the same spot. A few months later.... a new one with the same plaque from the original one. ( we found the original in the long grass - tell me that wasn't meant to be). We laid some flowers and arranged some rocks around the base. The chooking turning up was such a bonus. ♥ I hope you all like it... Ride the Lightening ..Texsy ♥
When the hen turned up all ginger and looking really pretty I thought of Texsy's love of chooks and my memories of her and this brought a smile to my face while we were there memorializing her life on Earth.

There are some other funny things about Texsy that make us smile,  if a bit too much boobie comes out of my bra or Montana's bra, this is known as chucking a Tex.  Texsy loved that we said this.  She used to laugh.  So,  if it happens we still refer to this now forever as "Chucking a Tex".  Oh Lord I miss her presence in this world.

The accident occurred on the Waterfall Way, less than 1km north of Bellingen at about 8pm in a 100kph speed zone, according to police crash investigators.

The victim, believed to be a local 32-year-old woman, was apparently walking along the road in the dark.

It appears that after the woman was hit , witnesses rushed to render first aid, but the woman was not conscious or breathing and shortly after went into cardiac arrest.

Paramedics arrived and commenced CPR, however, the woman died at the scene.

Ambulance, police including detectives, crime scene and crash investigators and SES attended the scene.

Police spoke to family and witnesses, and at about 2am police found a car wanted in relation to the crash and sent a tow truck to a Bellingen address to collect the vehicle.

A man is currently being interviewed by police in relation to the crash.

Waterfall Way north of Bellingen was closed for approximately seven hours while police conducted investigations and traffic was diverted around the crash scene.
