Passing on the Stories of the Central Desert of Australia

062.2 Indigenous Art - Uluru
Women's Story

Among the Central Desert tribes of Australia, the passing on of the Dreaming story is for the most part gender-related.

For example, the late artist from the Papunya movement, Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, painted ceremonial dreaming's relating to circumcision and love stories, and lessons for "naughty boys".

His daughters Gabriella Possum and Michelle Possum have tended to paint the "Seven Sisters" Dreaming or the Pleiades, as they inherited that Dreaming through the maternal line. Consequently, they have painted their "Grandmother's Country", which is an expression of their inherited ownership of the land through knowledge of the dreamings.

Clifford and his daughters have not painted the same subjects; Clifford has never painted the "Seven Sisters Dreaming". By tribal law, his daughters are not allowed to see male tribal ceremonies, let alone paint them.   Source Wiki

Sacrifice Day - ANZAC 2016

We didn't forget.
Our Wreath
I am a Wonnarua woman born on Geyan land. I live and stand proud at Talgumbuun / Deepwater NSW on Ngarabul lands with their permission.

Today we talk about my Father who was a sailor in the Royal Navy.  After all it is ANZAC Day again in 2016.   My Dad, William Henry Peters was a Gunner on the ship HMAS Arunta.  When I visited my Daddy he used to tell me stories about how it was absolutely frightening when there were bombs  dropping all around him while he was afloat on the ocean.  My father saw active duty in Korea.

He used to say to me that if any ever tells you they were not scared, they are liars because we were all terrified.  I am glad he survived that war.  If he hadn't he would not have created me.  I was born approximately eleven years after he returned from the war.

William Henry Peters, son of Markus and Matilda Peters
Billy Peters

I am proud of my father because the war wasn't where it stopped. His struggles multiplied.   He lost the use of his legs just weeks before I was born and then he was a paraplegic.   He left this world at the age of 47.  I was 12 years old and I was in shock and I am quite certain I still am.

One thing after another ..  I remember the fact he survived the war part today.  I celebrate the fact that his ship was named after a proud people of the Northern Territory.  I know a few of those people from up there.  Vince Forrester is a Luritja / Arrernte man, he is my friend and spirit brother.

More importantly, today I laid a wreath in what has become known as the classic three colours of the 1970's Aboriginal flag to honour those who lost their lives in the war on home soil (to use a war term).

This is an ongoing war, now known as the Frontier Wars because it has been fought all over this land.  Today solemn and reflective, I proudly honoured the ancestors in front of a very unsuspecting crowd of people.

It would be wonderful if this could happen everywhere across the various Anzac ceremonies, otherwise ANZAC Day is a joke.

PRINCE dead at 57

Prince at Coachella 001

This year has been crazy for losing musicians.  We all die but it is like the cream of the crop is kicking it at the same time.  Its true, its been one after another and sometimes two a day.

Prince was a legend.  A Gemini.  That explains so much of his multiple talents in the communication arena and the acting and music arena.  He was a dilettante with immense talent.

The entire world is in mourning again.  The loss of Prince Rogers Nelson will leave a huge gap in the music industry.  Presently I am listening to a tribute show being played by Miff Warhurst on Double J radio.  Its really beautiful and I would say this is happening all over the world right now as I type.

Here is When Doves Cry......  one of my old favorites.   Prince did things in the 70's and 80's that people are only just coming to now.  He was most definitely a unique soul.  I hope his soul is flying!

Uncle Paul Spearim, Open Letter to NSW Parliament

IMG 5075 Protest in Brisbane City

Yaama (Hello)

This is an open letter to the NSW State Parliament.

My name is Paul Spearim and I am a proud descendant of the Gamilaraay Nation of Northern NSW and Southern Queensland.
Through both my parents ancestry I can trace my connection to the Gamilaraay Nation back 3 Generations before the Gamilaraay Nation and Australia was even discovered. With my Gamilaraay connection locked within my Gii (heart) and Dhuwi (soul) my traditional upbringing was always prevalent in all matters relating to myself and my siblings learning song, dance, stories, knowledge and culture of my people.
Over the past 45 years I have maintained a cultural, spiritual and knowledge based connection to my sacred lands, by following the ancient teachings of my Grandparents, Parents, Aunties and Uncles and passing these teachings onto thousands of Gamilaraay people. Whether it be at Moree, Boobera Lagoon, Gunnedah, Biliga, Narrabri, Terrie Hie Hie, Inverell, Tingha, Boggabilla, Mungindi,Walgett and many other small towns and clan group areas that make up our unique sacred lands.
This brings me to the Political concept of what all First Nations people have to deal with when confronting the burden of prove to having a continues connection to their sacred lands. But for me personally this did not begin in 1901 or when the 1967 Referendum took place or when the evil Native Title Legislation was enacted. No, my continued connection goes back to when my Grandparents, Great Grandparents and so on, my Parents, Aunties and Uncles first passed onto me my connection to my songs, dance, stories, knowledge and culture. This just goes to show that the Gamilaraay Nation are a great example of the Oldest Surviving Race of peoples in the world, and how we still have maintained a continues connection to our sacred Gamilaraay lands since Gamilu Bidi-Wii (Creation).
For 3 generation my family have been excluded from the land and stopped from caring for the plants and animals and the purity of our water.
We are calling on you to say GAMIL (no) to anymore destruction occurring in my sacred lands. Sacred sites of very important significants have already been destroyed by Whitehaven, Santos and other Coal mining companies within our nation all with the approval of your colleagues and former politicians.
I wonder if the NSW State Parliament members have ever Maayali (whispered) into there babies/children or grandchildren’s ears, “I love you dearly and I will protect you with all my heart.
Well this is exactly how we as Gamilaraay people feel about our children. But what are we going to protect if you as our political representatives have already approved and desecrated one of our largest 'Birthing Ground's' not more than 5km away from Whitehavens front door.
Again I appeal to all members of the NSW State Parliament when in the future they are asked by there babies/children and grandchildren. “Mum, Dad, Nan, Pop when you where in politics I thought Northern NSW or more importantly the Gamilaraay Nation was unique, once made up of four very rich sustainable eco systems, towards the east is the great dividing ranges with its temperate rainforest and once rich gold and precious gems ladened lands.
In the west is the semi arid red soiled plains, now made famous (sic) for the cattle & sheep grazing industry. To the north is the black soiled plains now know as the food bowl of australia and in the south is the flood plains which is now known as the capital of the cotton industry.
Since this illegal occupation of my once striving landscape began, the famous Guwaydir River, which once stretched from one side of Gamilaraay to the other is almost dry. The Namoi River, which is the important sacred marker for Gamilu Bidi Wii (big and little Light) it is slowing to a very small trickle. The once crystal clear waters of the Barwon the resting place of the underground Seven Rivers is now like a stream and the very large raging Condomine which once proudly flowed into the Wiradjuri Nation is almost gone in some parts.
These where once major waterways and now they are almost dying, because of the introduction of sheep and cattle, the farming industry, cotton and now coal and CSG”.
Also the life giving Great Artesian Basin which carries old stories that relate back to Gamilu Bidi-Wii (Creation) within our sacred lands.
So again I say what is your answer going to be when they say, “WHY DID'NT YOU STOP THIS DESECRATION”.

Wind comes from the Sun, so cool.

IMG 1530 Sun walking on Water

See the Sun walking on water.  I believe this is what the real meaning of walking on water comes from.  The shape this forms is found in ancient symbolism.

The Sun creates heat on a planet that is lumpier and bumpier than my Sunday gravy, Earth.   It is the mountains and valleys which creates the differing temperatures that then make wind.   None of it possible with out the sun.  The sun is the heat factor that causes the expansion.  The heat is sent via radiation from the sun and so wind has a magnetic beginning.

Without the sun being what it is it would be impossible produce solar, wind, or water energy.

Our sun creates energy here on Earth and without the sun every thing would be pointless.  We would not exist for starters Without the Moon there would not be ocean tides.   The Moon is moving away from the Earth. In a few billion years it's orbit will have expanded about 40%,  it is said this will have severe effects on our oceans and tides.

The Indiscriminate Murder of the Original people of this Land, Australia.

 (fascimile only)

Gippsland squatter Henry Meyrick wrote a letter home to his relatives in England in 30th April, 1846.

"... The blacks are very quiet here now, poor wretches. No wild beast of the forest was ever hunted down with such unsparing perseverance as they are. Men, women and children are shot whenever they can be met with ...
I have protested against it at every station I have been in Gippsland, in the strongest language, but these things are kept very secret as the penalty would certainly be hanging.
... For myself, if I caught a black actually killing my sheep, I would shoot him with as little remorse as I would a wild dog, but no consideration on earth would induce me to ride into a camp and fire on them indiscriminately, as is the custom whenever the smoke is seen. They [the Aborigines] will very shortly be extinct. It is impossible to say how many have been shot, but I am convinced that not less than 450 have been murdered altogether..."

Clive Palmer Media Release QLD Nickel

clive palmer
Danielle Lewis

Media release:
Morrison abusing Ministerial power to lobby ASIC: Clive Palmer
Treasurer Scott Morrison was abusing his power as a Minister to lobby ASIC and make personal attacks over Queensland Nickel, the Federal leader of the Palmer United Party and Member for Fairfax, Clive Palmer, said today.
Mr Palmer said politicians from both major parties were engaging in a witch hunt against him to protect the two-party system rather than acknowledging the real reason for Queensland Nickel’s difficulties which was falling global commodity prices.
He said in the last 24 hours Mr Morrison, Michaela Cash, Bill Shorten, Brendan O’Connor and Ewen Jones had all attacked him personally over Queensland Nickel rather than deal with the facts.
“In just one example in the media today we see Scott Morrison abusing his power as a minister to lobby ASIC. This is a blatant case of Mr Morrison using his office for an improper purpose to attack me personally for political reasons,’’ he said.
“He is attacking me when in fact he is hiding the short comings of his Federal Government in assisting the people of North Queensland.”
Mr Palmer said the Federal Member for Herbert, Ewen Jones, did not have any success lobbying his own government for assistance for the Townsville community.
“If assistance was provided we wouldn’t have seen job losses,’’ Mr Palmer said.
“The real story why Queensland Nickel is in receivership is because of the low commodity prices.
“The Chinese and Canadian Governments have helped resource sectors in their countries, so we aren’t on a level playing field.
“The Australian Government continues to be reactive instead of proactive, while job losses continue to mount up across the resources sector.
“We have seen 23,000 job losses in the resource sector in Queensland in the last 12 months and, most recently, the situation unfolding at Whyalla.
“This is a political witch hunt against me by politicians who want to keep the two-party system intact and reject any independent views,’’ Mr Palmer said.

MOB PRINCIPAL of LORE (Magnetic principal of people)

The life principle in each mob comes from keeping the Lore.  This is the purpose.  It establishes right and wrong. To lose temper, to think bad, to engage in anything that is not for the common good of all damages the Lore.

Each mob has its own moral responsibility. The saltwater people have theirs, the desert people , the gulf people the reef people all have their own moral responsibilities , but even so they are not separate as they are all mobs on one land as a part of the one living organism (land) and in unity and co-operating together for the common good.

To damage one is to damage all because together they make up the one. Each mob is connected with song lines and stories.

ZIONISM and WAHHABISM: The Twin Cancers Destroying the Middle East (and their Dark Origins)…

burningbloggerofbedlam-wahhabism
This is something I’ve been meaning to post about ever since starting this blog; it’s a subject immensely important to our current global situation and international climate and it’s an angle largely avoided in mainstream journalism that I’m aware of (as far as linking these two political/religious ideologies together is concerned).
It is a fascinating, though rather grim, story, spanning the First World War, the creation of the states of Israel, Iraq, Syria and Saudi Arabia, and taking in Lawrence of Arabia, the fall of Gadaffi in Libya, the Syria Civil War and Rise of Islamic State, among other things. It’s a story of long-term manipulation, insidious indoctrination, and secret, ‘mythical’ works of literature.
These two ideologies – Wahhabism in Islam and Zionism which is linked primarily to the Jewish religion – may seem like unrelated  entities on the surface of it…

Seven simple Rules for good Writing

IMG 0281
The rose bushes were heavily laden with the sweetest blooms.
VS Naipaul’s Rules for Beginners

1. Do not write long sentences. A sentence should not have more than ten or twelve words.

2. Each sentence should make a clear statement. It should add to the statement that went before. A good paragraph is a series of clear, linked statements.

3. Do not use big words. If your computer tells you that your average word is more than five letters long, there is something wrong. The use of small words compels you to think about what you are writing. Even difficult ideas can be broken down into small words.

4. Never use words whose meaning you are not sure of. If you break this rule you should look for other work.

5. The beginner should avoid using adjectives, except those of colour, size and number. Use as few adverbs as possible.

6. Avoid the abstract. Always go for the concrete.

7. Every day, for six months at least, practice writing in this way. Small words; short, clear, concrete sentences. It may be awkward, but it’s training you in the use of language. It may even be getting rid of the bad language habits you picked up at the university. You may go beyond these rules after you have thoroughly understood and mastered them.

Mossack Fonseca and Evil Corporations BIG LEAKS

PANAMA-TAX/

11 Million documents .... Bastion Overmyer received the data leak ... now its public knowledge.  2.6Tb ... its bigger than Wikileaks.

Register companies in Tax Havens  Low Tax Jurisdictions (Virgin Islands, Samoa, Bahamas, Panama and more).

Mossack Fonseca offers Anonymity but now we know there are 100's of Australians on the leaked list.  This is going to be huge and all governments are now on notice.

Mossack Fonseca told customers not to worry. It said its commitment to its clients’ privacy “has always been paramount, and in this regard your confidential information is stored in our state-of-the-art data center, and any communication within our global network is handled through an encryption algorithm that complies with the highest world-class standards.”

 https://panamapapers.icij.org/20160403-panama-papers-global-overview.html
Etymology
The word "corporation" derives from the Latin Corpus (body), representing a "body of people"; that is, a group of people authorized to act as an individual(Oxford English Dictionary). The word universitas also used to refer to a group of people but now refers specifically to a group of scholars (see University).

In England the term corporation was also used for the local government body in charge of a borough. This style was replaced in most cases with the term council in Britain in 1973, and in the Republic of Ireland.

The sole exception is the Corporation of London which retains the title.
Back to what has become known as the Panama Papers
The leaked papers regarding Mossack Fonseca could be the tipping point we have all been waiting for.  Corporate law has become a law unto itself and its time this was stopped.  All around the world the people of so many countries are standing up against the same thing.  Its the same because it is rampant across the world and it touches the most powerful and famous and it touches a lot of Australian Companies...  ie  BHP BILLITON... These guys are not having a great year so far at all what with Bento Rodriguez and so be it as they have been laughing at us all for as long as I have been alive.

Lets follow what has happened so far with some newspaper story links below.

Tabula Rasa

A Blank Slate

Tabula rasa is a Latin phrase often translated as "blank slate" in English and originates from the Roman tabula used for notes, which was blanked by heating the wax and then smoothing it.

Epistemology (Listeni/ˌpɪstˈmɒləi/; from Greek ἐπιστήμη, epistēmē, meaning "knowledge, understanding", and λόγος, logos, meaning "word") is a word first used by the Scottish philosopher James Frederick Ferrier to describe the branch of philosophy concerned with the theory of knowledge.

Tabula rasa is a Latin phrase often translated as "blank slate" in English and originates from the Roman tabula used for notes, which was blanked by heating the wax and then smoothing it. This roughly equates to the English term "blank slate" (or, more literally, "erased slate") which refers to the emptiness of a slate sheet previous to it being written on with chalk. Both may be refreshed repeatedly, by melting the wax or by erasing the chalk.

In Western philosophy, the concept of tabula rasa can be traced back to the writings of Aristotle who writes in his treatise "Περί Ψυχῆς" (De Anima or On the Soul) of the "unscribed tablet." In one of the more well-known passages of this treatise he writes that:
Have not we already disposed of the difficulty about interaction involving a common element, when we said that mind is in a sense potentially whatever is thinkable, though actually it is nothing until it has thought? What it thinks must be in it just as characters may be said to be on a writing-tablet on which as yet nothing stands written: this is exactly what happens with mind.

Vatican Architectual Secrets revealed.

IMG 4887 Warwick Catholic Cathedral
Warwick Queensland Roman Catholic Cathedral.

Robert Bauvals book reveals how the largest Sun Temple in the world, built according to Hermetic principles, is located at one of Christianity's holiest sites: the Vatican

• Shows how famous Renaissance philosophers and scientists called for a Hermetic reformation of Christianity by building a magical Temple of the Sun in Rome

• Explains how the Vatican architect Bernini designed St. Peter's Square to reflect heliocentric and Hermetic principles

• Reveals how the design was masterminded by Bernini, Jesuit scholars, the mystical Queen Christine of Sweden, and several popes

In 16th century Italy, in the midst of the Renaissance, two powerful movements took hold. The first, the Hermetic Movement, was inspired by an ancient set of books housed in the library of Cosimo de' Medici and written by the Egyptian sage Hermes Trismegistus. The movement expounded the return of the "true religion of the world" based on a form of natural magic that could draw down the powers of the heavens and incorporate them into statues and physical structures. The other movement, the Heliocentric Movement launched by Copernicus, was a direct challenge to the Vatican's biblical interpretation of a geocentric world system. Declared a heresy by the Pope, those who promoted it risked the full force of the Inquisition.

Exploring the meeting point of these two movements, authors Robert Bauval and Chiara Hohenzollern reveal how the most outspoken and famous philosophers, alchemists, and scientists of the Renaissance, such as Giordano Bruno and Marsilio Ficino, called for a Hermetic reformation of the Christian religion by building a magical utopian city, an architectural version of the heliocentric system.

Using contemporary documents and the latest cutting-edge theses, the authors show that this Temple of the Sun was built in Rome, directly in front of the Vatican's Basilica of St. Peter. They explain how the Vatican architect Bernini designed St. Peter's Square to reflect the esoteric principles of the Hermetica and how the square is a detailed representation of the heliocentric system.

Revealing the magical architectural plan masterminded by the Renaissance's greatest minds, including Bernini, Jesuit scholars, Queen Christine of Sweden, and several popes, the authors expose the ultimate heresy of all time blessed by the Vatican itself.
