CELL SALTS

Quartz
This was a healing method that was first instigated by the famous  Dr. med. Wilhelm Schuessler of Germany. In 1852 he studied medicine in Paris, then in Berlin.   He completed his medical degree in Giessen.  He studied another 3 semesters in Prague before returning to Oldenburg.

What is healing with Cells Salts?

There are distinct differences between Schuessler’s mineral salts and the standardized Homoeopathic remedies.  Standard Homoeopathy makes use of substances which can be foreign to the body (sometimes poisonous) whilst the biochemical mineral cell salt therapy utilizes the basic building blocks that are common to the human body [and not poisonous].

In conjunction with this biochemical method of healing Dr. Schuessler diagnosed via facial diagnostics.

Dr Schuessler said:
“My healing therapy balances disturbances which come about through agitation of inorganic substances in the human body, by means of similar substances. Homoeopathy reaches its purpose of healing indirectly through different substances.”
The 12 salts are essential to the health and to the growth and function of the body. These salts are grouped in fours;

Phosphates / Chlorides / Sulphates / Fluorides (also Silica).

Individual Cell Salts also go by various synonyms.

Calcium Sulphate deficiency symptoms include acne and other skin problems,
slow healing wounds, abscesses, swollen glands, negativity, apathy.
The Potassium Cell Salts are important for emotional health.
Deficiency symptoms include nervousness, anxiety, mental confusion.
Kali Mur deficiency symptoms include colds, sinus inflammation,
arthritis inflammation, lack of energy and interest.
Kali Phosphate deficiency symptoms include anxiety, irritability.
poor memory and physical fatigue.
Kali Sulphate corrects the functioning of oils in the body. Deficiency symptoms
show up as dryness and in the later stages of inflammation including acne and
intestinal disorders. Mental symptoms include worry and lack of judgment.
The 3 Sodium Cell Salts balance fluids and water in the body and support the functioning of the kidneys, pancreas, stomach and digestive system.
Natrum Mur helps with edema, headache, weakness in the sun or heat,
chronic sinus conditions.
Natrum Phosphate is for complaints of the digestive system. Take right before
meals for improved digestion. Deficiency symptoms include acidity, indigestion.
Natrum Sulphate for strengthening pancreatic functioning.
Ferrum Phosphate is the oxygenating Cell Salt, so remember for physical fatigue.
Useful for inflammation, fever, and infection.
Magnesium Phosphate is found inside the cells of muscles and nerves. Deficiency symptoms include muscle pain, muscle fatigue, muscle spasms.

Silicea is the hair and skin remedy. Deficiency includes excess perspiration,
unhealthy skin, brittle nails and hair.  from Homeopathy for healing

Silica - Silicon dioxide - Silica is most commonly found in nature as quartz and is good for wound healing and to avoid slackening of the skin.
Silica is the trace mineral that is related to strong, healthy connective tissue. [the muscles, tendons, hair, nails, cartilage and bone, and ultimately, healthy skin].
Natural sources in our diet include leeks, green beans, strawberries, cucumber, mango, celery, asparagus and rhubarb. Other yummy sources include cereals, apples, raw cabbage, carrots, cucumber, pumpkin, oats, honey, fish, unrefined grains, almonds and oranges.
If your diet is lacking in Silica, or if you’re suffering from a deficiency, it can result in slackening of the skin and impaired wound healing. It can also mean weak nails and dull, brittle and fine hair.

Conversely, if your diet is sufficient in silica, you should enjoy great skin, thick, shiny hair and strong nails, among other things.
FURTHER to the use of cell salts

Due to the minuteness of cells, the best way to replenish any deficiency is via micro-nutrients that go directly to the cells that are depleted.

Tinctures from the salts are useful because they are easily absorbed this way into the body, helping the salts to go directly into the bloodstream without expelling vital energy digesting / processing the micro-nutrient cell salts.

The 12 salts are attributed to the month of the year and to the corresponding astrological sign of that month.

12 Bodily Systems

SAM 8004 Gentleman
Beards are part of the Intergumentary System

The Number 12

The number 12 repeats again in the amount of bodily systems we have to function as a living breathing entity and survive the elements.

This spiritual number repeats in many esoteric texts and is found in the human body to replicate the 12 spokes to the wheel and the 12 angles of light throughout the 360 degrees of the earth and the correspondence to man and the universe.     1 + 2 = 3  and 3 is the triune base of eternity and the mind of the all in geometric terms.

There are 12 minerals as part of the inorganic part of our system.  See my blog on the Salts of Salvation.

Cardiovascular system
:
the blood circulation with heart, arteries and veins

Digestive system: processing food with mouth, esophagus, stomach and intestines.

Endocrine system: communicating within the body using hormones

Excretory system:
eliminating wastes from the body

Immune system:
defending against disease-causing agents

Integumentary system: skin, hair and nails

Lymphatic system:
The lymphatic system is also a defense system for the body.

Muscular system: moving the body with muscles

Nervous system: collecting, transferring and processing information with brain and nerves

Reproductive system: the sex organs

Respiratory system: the organs used for breathing, the lungs

Skeletal system: structural support and protection through bones

Endocannabinoid system

The endocannabinoid system is a central regulatory system that affects a wide range of biological processes. It consists of a group of molecules known as cannabinoids as well as the cannabinoid receptors that they bind to.

IMG 7050
The endocannabinoid system is a group of neuromodulatory lipids and their receptors that are involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory; it mediates the psychoactive effects of cannabis and, broadly speaking, includes:
The endogenous arachidonate-based lipids, anandamide (N-arachidonoylethanolamide, AEA) and 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG); these are known as "endocannabinoids" and are physiological ligands for the cannabinoid receptors.

Endocannabinoids are all eicosanoids

"Eicosanoid" (eicosa-, Greek for "twenty"; see icosahedron) is the collective term for oxygenated derivatives of three different 20-carbon fatty acids:
What are  Eicosanoids?
In biochemistry, eicosanoids (preferred IUPAC name icosanoids) are signaling molecules made by oxidation of 20-carbon fatty acids. They exert complex control over many bodily systems, mainly in inflammation or immunity, and as messengers in the central nervous system. The networks of controls that depend upon eicosanoids are among the most complex in the human body.
Eicosanoids are derived from either omega-3 (ω-3) or omega-6 (ω-6) fatty acids. The ω-6 eicosanoids are generally pro-inflammatory; ω-3s are much less so. The amounts and balance of these fats in a person's diet will affect the body's eicosanoid-controlled functions, with effects on cardiovascular disease, triglycerides, blood pressure, and arthritis. Anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin and other NSAIDs act by downregulating eicosanoid synthesis.

There are multiple subfamilies of eicosanoids, including the prostaglandin e.g prostacyclins, the thromboxanes, lipoxins and the leukotrienes.
IMG 7050Although marijuana is a source of over 60 cannabinoids (including THC and CBD), the human body produces a number of cannabinoids as well. These endogenous cannabinoids include anandamide and 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG) and are present in all human beings.

Decades of scientific research on the endocannabinoid system has resulted in the discovery of two types of cannabinoid receptors, CB1 and CB2. These receptors are found in various parts of the body, but are most prominent in the brain and immune system.

Cannabinoid receptors act as binding sites for endogenous cannabinoids as well as cannabinoids found in marijuana. When cannabinoids bind to CB1 or CB2 receptors, they act to change the way the body functions.

While cannabinoid receptors are primarily expressed in the brain and immune system, researchers have identified cannabinoid receptors in a variety of other places as well, including the peripheral nervous system, cardiovascular system, reproductive system, and gastrointestinal and urinary tracts. Cannabinoid receptors continue to be identified in unique parts of the body as research on the endocannabinoid system progresses.

What Does It Do?

IMG 7050Interestingly, the endocannabinoid system is not unique to the human species. Rather, research has shown that this system is common to all humans and vertebrate animals – and even some invertebrate animals – suggesting its significance in the process of evolution. Experts believe that natural selection has conserved the endocannabinoid system in living organisms for 500 million years.
Although the endocannabinoid system affects a wide variety of biological processes (such as appetite and sleep), experts believe that its overall function is to regulate homeostasis.

Homeostasis is a key element in the biology of all living things and is best described as the ability to maintain stable internal conditions that are necessary for survival. Disease is simply a result of some aspect of failure in achieving homeostasis, making the endocannabinoid system a unique target for medical applications.

Medical Applications

IMG 7050A primary example of the endocannabinoid system’s role in homeostasis comes from research that has identified an overexpression of cannabinoid receptors in the tumor cells of various cancer diseases, including lung cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer and prostate cancer. Research has also shown that tumor growth can be inhibited and even reversed when cannabinoids such as THC are administered.

Experts believe that the overexpression of cannabinoid receptors is an indicator of the endocannabinoid system’s role as a biological defence system, providing strong support for the use of medical marijuana.

Interestingly, research suggests that this defence system is not only useful in treating cancer, but may also be beneficial in the treatment of a wide variety of conditions. Current evidence points to the endocannabinoid system as being a potential therapeutic target for the following list of disorders:

  • AIDS/HIV
  • Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Arthritis
  • Cancer
  • Chronic Pain
  • Epilepsy
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Glaucoma
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Sleep disorders
  • Post-traumatic Stress Disorder

  • "Eicosanoid" (eicosa-, Greek for "twenty"; see icosahedron) is the collective term for oxygenated derivatives of three different 20-carbon fatty acids:

Eicosanoid biosynthesis begins when a cell is activated by mechanical trauma, cytokines, growth factors or other stimuli.
