A few years back I took the decision to be happy in myself  although being very poor in monetary terms. 

I could no longer compete on the level others were.   It was destroying my well-being as I kept trying to do this.

So, I made a decision to be the happiest I can possibly be on the least there possibly is.  I succeeded at doing this.  Survival is basic and increasingly people are misguided about this because of media and the general idea that is in our society.   Its all about being really mindful of how you can make a difference.

There are so many things we can do.  It does take effort and commitment.  Water costs real money, and if you don't have much then this is a drain that can be aided by conserving and saving water for the garden to avoid paying for this.  Use containers if there is no tank.  Gardens get thirsty.

Food is expensive, one can garden to off set costs.  This is aided by collecting free manure as fertilizer instead of using a bought chemical version.  Collecting your own seeds for next years crops is also money saving over a time. 

When you have a glut of particular fruits and vegetables, swapping, freezing, drying or bottling are ways to retain the preciousness longer for your family until next season.

Electricity is expensive and being smart can save you money.  Money that could be spent on things that can't be sought from an inexpensive source. 

Use cheap outdoor solar lights inside to light up dark places during the night. There is no need for turning on and off of lights for a short time using this solar method.  Boil water in the microwave if you have one (they are not much for cooking) as this is much cheaper than boiling a bench kettle.

My children think I am misguided for taking on this and abolishing my anxiety around not having enough by creating ways to make life pleasant and satisfying.

I have heard my grown up children refer to me as being in a  mentally ill state due to what they see as useless obsessions.  Its a sad thing they think about money in such a fashion as they do and don't see that you can't actually eat it.   Its not mental to save water - we all could be doing this because we live in such a dry continent.

Disappointingly, I have had to come to the realization that it is my kids who are seriously misguided and not myself.  Their ideas are redundant from my huge worldly perspective.  The dead ideas of owning stuff being the watermark of success is seriously floored.  Its an ideology fostered to make all the workers good slaves.  Pressure was always applied to my kids via equally misguided friends  (children of blind slaves) with regards  to this very subject of recycling, re-using, budgeting, gardening because for my kids I am an embarrassment.. Well go figure hey ??

Their meta-physic needs kicking to the curb before it effects their health.  All of society could do well to do a similar overhaul.

I am sure there are a whole new wave of people around now who desperately need educating regarding why the most helpful plant on the planet [that appears to be from out of this world] would be illegal.   When it is clear there are so many countless positive benefits all round from utilizing it, there should be hoards who are scratching the heads going 'huh'!!

I was lucky to have learned the truth about this when I was just 16 years old.  That is now a cool forty years ago now.  When I was 20 I joined NORML.   Over those years since I have watched the rubbish touted by the government parasites whose vested interests kept this plant illegal and made criminals out of otherwise good people.

People who never would have been and never broke the law in any other way.   The illegal status has also prevented people who have certain ailments from having quality of life, children have died have endless seizures while cancers have risen and cannabis can treat this, the madness marched on as it was kept from those that most needed its benefits.

That is just the medicinal side without considering the myriad of other benefits this plant has both nutritionally and industrially. You can purchase food grade Hemp seeds now and people should be munching out on these as often as they can.  The Hemp oil is so beneficial to use in the kitchen for its health benefits.

It's 'Midnight' at Tara - Queensland ... make no mistakes!

 The land must be healed for the people to be healed.

Brian is clearly saying this to people "how can you continue to trust this system". "All of the politicians are the same self serving, selfish, narcissistic persons who give with one hand and take twice as much with the other by the splendid use of dialectics.  

This is my interpretation, and I stand behind Brian with this opinion.  Although, we may differ in the manner in which we think it can be healed.  Personally,  I look forward to cultural change being manifested.  I see a vision for the earth, and the earth being put first and foremost.   This has to be done immediately, because a sick land has sick people.

Well, I guess most people who have seen me in videos and Youtube's have watched me crying, pretty much everywhere really. Well I'm at it again this morning. I just found the old digital camera and have gone for a stroll or stumble down memory lane, a sad sad journey.

Took me all the way back to when my grandchildren were only just becoming impacted by this filthy unconventional gas industry. Back to a time when I believed in government departments, back to a time when honest public servants could have saved impacts on my family, not by doing anything but their job properly.

It is slap you in the face obvious experience when you go back a few years and a lot of birthday images in a short while. Someone yesterday spoke of justice, we have experienced injustice at its extreme and know it will never be addressed.

To watch what is now alarmingly obvious as rashes appeared and went, a string of photos of kids with blood noses, young faces in distress and we didn't see it at the time, I cry in guilt and I shudder in anger at the same time if that makes sense. To go back to to a time when there was no thought of epileptic seizures, no fear of them, no sleepless nights because of them. No changed personality that appeared in reverse before my eyes.

Anyway, Australians have chosen to allow us, lots of us out here to become collateral damage, lots more to follow, tens of thousands to follow. No need for university studies, it happens before your eyes.

Imagine of Q Health did their job and tested humans, children, what about the gas inspectors who found no hydrocarbon in a bore that lit, what about the LNG enforcement unit who changed to the CSG compliance unit and again to something i cant remember and will again under the new government.  What about the CMC not investigating my complaint and in fact asking the very department I complained about to investigate not my complaint but one person who I already said was no doubt not corrupt just stupid.

So lets guess how many other families, how many other grand parents will have to look back at images of their lives changed forever because Australians said it was all worth it for the DEBT.

This industry creates more DEBT than it pays, we have the USA experience to prove that, but sadly we have no f@cking media to put it out to the public. Anyway, we were one of the first and that was before the industry was up and running, now I watch people around starting to fall like nine pins asking why were we not warned.

I did all I could think of to warn the population at large, you didn't listen, you said not in my backyard, we will use Brian's experience to warn our regions, and you should have. But every day the list of the HARMED grows, every day people flee, every day the government lies, the industry lies, every day.

I know people see me as an angry bitter disillusioned grandfather, I know I lash out often at those who don't deserve it, but i would say this simple fact, live my life and show me you could do better. Actually many of you WILL live my life, let me know how that goes.

The tears and the anger don't help, maybe some may save themselves using this warning, or maybe Australians will just say, why didn't someone warn us. This is a global assault for greed and control, don't worry I'm sure your polluticiians will save you.

A very strange and sad commentary of the way our lives have become.

Powerful energy companies trying to rape the earth for her last great bits.

A new pilgrimage has been declared...  a pilgrimage into the great economic future of the world's industrial wealth.  Humanity has become very much self absorbed and selfish.  This type of action is a sickness.  It is a sickness on par with all serious physical illnesses

In the past we lived modestly in an uncluttered existence.  This says and does a lot.  Living simply and living naturally is so much better for all of the people here on planet Earth.

I am a little envious of  early man who lived in a natural world.  What a world that must have been.   In today's world we have to go back to classes to learn how to overcome the large powerful companies that are liabilities to our planet.  We have to help our planet and we have to help ourselves survive this intrepid behaviour by these mining and energy companies who are raping our planet.

Each day I wake very early and with an increasing sense of doom . I have become concerned about the state of the world and the trouble brewing within the governments of our planet. The greed and the rampant consumerism is rife.  I am weary of being dictated to.  I want to take back the power into my own hands and be responsible more for myself and not live by government stipulations about seeds and food and eating.  It is the eating that has made everyone sick.  Why would I want to take their poison.  I don't.

Local trading must get back on the agenda and we need to have sovereignty over our food in our own shires, areas etc etc. That would mean we could purchase foods ie. Vegetables cheeses Milk and meats etc etc from local farmers at the gate.   We would do this with common sense and at our own risk.  You for example would not purchase milk from a filthy dairy.  Your own common sense will be necessary to look out for your own health etc.  You take back the responsibility to think again for yourself. 

Word of mouth is powerful advertising. With the aid of social media this is a time like no other and a WINDOW like no other to take back the power from these power hungry soldiers in the HUMAN GROCERY STORE ( Guns and Roses lyric).. Computer usage is increasing our brain power, our grey matter is growing and isn't it curious that all computers were grey when they started.  To me it was like a silent symbol of where we were going with this.

We need to stop importing the gigantic amount of junk from overseas at cheap prices. It is junk.  Why spend your hard earned on junk?  Everyone does better if we trade locally in our own country!  We need to STOP.  Otherwise the manufacturing and retail industries are going to lose more jobs.  We have to stop looking at the bottom line and start looking back at what is good for us as the nation we live in.   For myself I should buy real Gold and hang onto the gold I already have.  Including my ex's wedding ring he gave me back. ( he now wants back again)   Gold may come in handy in this upcoming depression that will inevitably happen and its happening fast.  Growing your own food in some capacity, either in a co op or in your back yard or balcony.  Growing anything that will help you survive will be an advantage.

The photographic image above to me represents the empty street where no one buying anything in the retail outlets. Why?   Because we just cannot do it anymore!
