Happy Birthday Billy and Bags .... shine on in our hearts.

My mother said to me a few days before she passed, "I thought that you would be the one who would hate me the most and you ended up being the one who loved me the most". She thought I would hate her because she had ten children and she had to leave me at four months alone on the bed. I was separated from everyone. She was so relieved that I am not that sort of person and perhaps after that she was able to pass peacefully. I never met my mummy "Bags" until I was over 18 or so maybe 19 .. Have you ever seen a dry plant that some one finally gave some water to?. That was me. I was so grateful to my BF at the time who helped me find her. It's why I am a bit of a weirdo you know, everything was just a bit crazy. I knew my daddy "Billy", he was a true legend but the war damaged him. I never saw him walk, he was a paraplegic, he had an accident just a couple of months before I was born. I always knew people hated me because I was so badly in the way of it all. I carried that feeling throughout my life until I learned more about myself and the connection to the All. My daddy went star ward when I was 12, it felt too soon. It was in fact too soon for both of them although in real terms we are on a journey that doesn't end here and so I got no call on whether its good or bad in that sense. I know they watch over us all, I sense it from time to time, certain kooky things happen and I smile. The other thing this means, is my friends have been my family forever. I'm grateful for the beauty everyone of these people imparted into my life and for sharing your families with me and sharing my parents birthday with me today

Looking back 2 Months ago ... last year.

Back in December on the 11th this tripod was constructed, we couldn't talk about it then.  I can now though because its gone now.  Smashed by the riot squad.  No less I was so impressed with its construction.  Everyone helped in some way and it was like a bunch of Aimish had moved in.

There was the precision of a moon landing going on here at Glenugie and this man up in the top here  was leading the construction of this wonderful piece of handwork. What a wonderful man and a true hero as well.

Later on though this month on the 7th it was pulled down and Nigel was well locked on up top and it was quite a construction by this time.  It served its purpose well indeed.  The idea is to stall them as long as physically possible and time is money and money is what makes the world go around for these mining giants so the idea is to send them flat penniless broke.

The Power of the World always works in circles

Have you noticed that everything an Indian does is in a circle, and that is because the Power of the World always works in circles, and everything tries to be round..... The Sky is round, and I have heard that the earth is round like a ball, and so are all the stars. The wind, in its greatest power, whirls. Birds make their nest in circles, for theirs is the same religion as   ours... Even the seasons form a great circle in their changing, and always come back again to where they were. The life of a man is a circle from childhood to childhood, and so it is in everything where power moves.

This cycle of living is something I know very well as I was forced by circumstance to follow my very own cycle so closely for a number of years and resorting to all sorts of magical and mystical things to try and right my energy balance with the world.  Funny all it took was to get madly pissed.  Something I had  purposefully stayed away from to help my chances of falling pregnant.  When I finished up with the IVF Program I went out and finally I got wasted and then I got pregnant.  Phenomenal. I actually went round in a complete circle and experienced the full gamut of it all from start to finish and finally I fell naturally and I delivered naturally as well.

This is the end of a season ..

At some stage everything on earth has to come to an end.  This blog has now ceased to exist as such and we have begun a new one called On the Hill in 2012 and we will see where we are with this new blog in a years time.  I understand Flickr now as well so they are blogger friendly and the space is updated monthly.

I will leave the link up for access but the new blog has all of the old posts imported to it for your reading pleasure and it appears doing this doesn't use up the download space.  As well as being seen here I edit the stuff from my end still at the other address so.

I have begun to take a different direction with these. I have been trying to keep them separate but some times all the blogs end up similar.  This is hilarious from this end as well, so don't think that I didn't notice this finer point.

This 25th April 2012 - ANZAC DAY

Turn Right Into the Firing Line

HMAS ARUNTA ...  My fathers ship in Korea

FORM/FUNCTION/EXECUTION or THE ART CRITIC OF WAR
each and every subject's
easily erased
each model reduced
to black and white figures on a page

portraits of new monsters
an old image retraced
paint it all with numbers
a distortion of common shapes

broken down and rebuilt
servitude in relief
sculpted to be ruins
for a landscape of pride and belief

two thousand feet above
a thousand miles away
nemesis needs no face
for this re conceptualisation of space

may good fortune strike us blind
may we see not their eyes
may they wear our masks so bold
may these young hearts beat cold
that we may destroy all our enemies

I don't see or understand
why or where these men stand
but empathy alone could stay this failed artist's hand.

Thank you Hostage Life

WAR - Edwin Starr

In the last days there will be wars and rumours of wars.  These last days are the last days of the hell fire PISCERIAN AGE and now thank goodness it should turn around and come good.  Here in this part of the universe today we are celebrating the soldiers coming home from war and our ANZAC DAY...  Australia and New Zealand Armed Corps.  Have a good day with whatever you are doing today.

Christmas is a holiday that persecutes the lonely, the frayed, and the rejected. Jimmy Cannon

Christmas is, of course, the time to be home - in heart as well as body.
Garry Moore
Christmas is getting more and more lonelier each year.   The massive Christmas's inviting everyone who had no one all done while nursing the latest sniper attack from my ex who managed to screw Christmas more times than I care to actually remember, to being completely forgotten and left out myself for any real Christmas lunch forevermore.  Destined to always now have a time of loneliness and a time of tears remembering memories mostly bad but some good.  The memories are strange now and warped in my mind but if I think carefully the thoughts bring themselves back into line and I realize its just a day and it will finally unwind just like all the others.

My heart was taken by you, broken by you and now is in pieces because of you.

On this day twenty nine years ago

After the wedding when we arrived home to Cooks Hill with all of our belongings from the beach and I laid down and worse luck for me I went to sleep and could not be roused.  I missed our Wedding dinner because I was asleep, so sunburned from the days celebrations in the burning sunshine.  I was in serious trouble from my then new husband and there wasn't much I could do about it.

What does your new husband do when your dying on the bed of sunstroke... go out to dinner by himself and make you wear the consequences for the rest of the entirety of the relationship.

Urunga footbridge to the beach 2011
This image shows the footbridge that is near my home.  It is an easy, but long walk out to the beach.  I love the beach so much and this is why I chose to get married  on the beach so many years ago in 1982 at Susan Gilmore Beach in Newcastle.   Les Burnell and Kelvin Connell were our witnesses and we were married at 11.00 AM.   We spent all day till dark at the beach.  No wonder I was exhausted.

I was equally exhausted from the marriage itself some 26 years later and called it quits and got a divorce after a long and bitter battle over selling our family home.  I didn't want to sell it until our daughter Montana left high school and was safely organized into University or the like.  This was not to be the case and after being treated so poorly for my troubles I decided when I awoke that day that Divorce was definitely on the agenda  and I filed for divorce and was granted a decree nisi  a month later.
