Yes let's eat fruit and vegetables! - GLYPHOPHOSPATE POISONED!

Its a scary prospect buying food from the supermarkets in this country and probably others as well.  It's grown with poison and then there is Glyphophospate or Glyphosate, otherwise known by its Monsanto's rock star name of "Round Up".

 

Today in Australia we are growing our cotton  as a Round Up ready crop. Which, incidentally we will wear on our bodies.  Why are we participating?  Large companies getting rich making ordinary mums and dads addicted to the lifestyle and making babies (sick babies or in turn make sicker babies).

According to David Suzuki and I agree emphatically:

We have no idea what the long-term consequences of these genetic manipulations will will be on the public. There is no way that our health authorities can test all possible combinations and permutations over a large enough population over a long enough period to be able to say with assurance. So, basically by slipping it into our food without our knowledge without any indication that there are genetically modified organisms in our food we are now unwittingly part of a massive experiment.

California's Environmental Protection - Roundup --> CARCINOGENIC!

California EPA Moves to Label Monsanto's Roundup 'Carcinogenic...

Glyphosate is the main ingredient of the tyrannical Round Up which is a Monsanto product.  I have a form letter I share with others to write to their councils and I did this to make it easier to contact them with this inorder to ask them to cease and desist from using this chemical. 

Dig out weeds. Stop pouring poison on the most necessary bacteria that is lodged in the soils around the round up ready plants.  The announcement from the EPA's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment is officially a "notice of intent" to list this pesticide as carcinogenic, giving the public an opportunity to comment on the proposal through October 5.

Bellingen joins in and protests with the rest of the world and says NO to GMO!

 People came from everywhere to be part of this and join with the rest of the world in saying no and this was reported in the Advocate

AROUND 100 marchers staged a street protest in Bellingen today as part of a world-wide movement in 52 countries.  

Activists are protesting against genetically modified organisms in general but their biggest individual beef is with multinational Monsanto.

The people of Bellingen voice their horror at Councils motion to overturn a previous decision and grant a development application to a quarry in Dorrigo, allowing for a massive increase in truck movements on the extremely dangerous waterfall way mountain pass and down through Bellingen main street and past the high school. This could mean up 700 truck and trailer movements a week, or one every seven minutes. The people are putting pressure on council to have an independent engineering and safety report carried out on the impact to our roads and tourism industry, before work can begin.  From the About on Youtube.

Justin who has been here in this area for about six years. He was my neighbor.  From my observations of humanityI think he will have trouble with his children,  lets see how close to the mark I am.  I clearly saw this living next door.  Perhaps this is their issue.  They know I know, jeezus I can't help this, I do have ears and eyes, what can I do?

 The American chemical and agricultural biotechnological giant is the world's largest manufacturer of genetically engineered seed and fertilizers and is under increasing attack for attempts to "own" the world's food supply with it's products. 

Labor's Federal Electoral Council spokesperson in Cowper, Alfredo Navarro, said the evidence is growing of the dangers of dabbling with natural produce. "It starts when the genetically modified seed goes into the soil and is washed down with pesticide," he said. "Then animals consume the soy beans or corn or other crops as feed and then we consume those animals in the next stage of the food chain. 

"Because the technology is so new it's not until much later that we find out we've been consuming something that's a long way from what we thought we were getting." Mr Navarro said that apart from the dangers of changing genetic make-up, consumers have difficult finding out what products are affected.

"Monsanto is fighting against mandatory labelling of products to show the processes that got them to that stage," he said. "I believe consumers have every right to know where the products come from and what is in them. "It's very little to ask if consumers are to have a choice. 

"For any company to stand in the way gives me a strong indication there is something to hide and we are running a risk if they start disabling the natural order of food products."

I was accompanied by Suzanne and Merve at the march and for the weekend.   We had a lovely time and an educational time.  We listened to many great speakers and we caught up with people I had not seen for some time.  We even saw Simmo's Grand Child. 

I am glad I took my mat made of recycled plastic bags and it was such a hit with so many people.  Others just stared at it,  I could sense they wanted to say something or ask but because of their prior lack of sensitivity they probably sensed I was aware of their patronizing spirit. 

I am absolutely aware that it is difficult for those around me  that have audibly said too much in the past which was clearly unfounded and ungrounded and with out credence whatsoever.  There are levels in Bellingen, its always been this way! 

These same people who can no longer speak belong to the click as I prefer to call this, and they are perfectly aware of this fact and take themselves to have a  crude sense of betterment on others because of this.   I knew most of these people I saw.  Most still looked shocked again to see me.  Was I painted that bad by those who were so jealous in past times. 

Of course I didn't help myself in that three year period that I drank myself into oblivion after our marriage was over.    I was suffering an immense pain that was indescribably torturous to bear, alcohol may not be the best choice but it was legal and it was affordable at the time and it numbed me. 

Surely these same people do understand that 28 years of marriage over is not something to be sneezed at.  If they are that insensitive and brainless, Fuck them!   Let us see their sorry arses when their children find out about all the partner swapping they participate in these so called great parents get up to up the valley fair.  

I always say fair is fair.  If someone can tell my children a perverted version of my own events to cause havoc, then bring on the absolute truth for these people because their truth is way weirder than mine ever was!   That is word!  This is the bullshit that pervades this place and has done for as long as I have been around in the last thirty years in this area, nothing changes under the sun they say.  Nothing much changes in Bellingen.  The place attacts this type of arrogance with such a magnetic quality.   I would love to write more about this vibrational aspect down the track.  Some thing we attribute at "Bellingen Time".

What’s considered the most respected newspaper in the world today published the Kraft warning label that a Food Babe reader found in the UK on an imported US box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. I want to thank the NY Times for investigating and broadcasting this label to the world and millions of Americans in their newspaper and online for everyone to see.

This is a huge victory in food awareness!Given all the media coverage since March, it is now becoming blatantly apparent that there are serious concerns with the ingredients in Kraft Mac & Cheese. Everyone who reads the NY Times today will see the 2 warnings:

Warning #1:

This Product May Cause Adverse Effects On Activity And Attention In Children (This warning label is required because The US version of Kraft Mac & Cheese has artificial food dyes yellow #5 and yellow #6 which are proven to be linked to hyperactivity in children.)

Warning #2:

GMO Declaration: Made from genetically modified wheat. (May contain GMO) (This warning label is required because the US version of Kraft Mac & Cheese contains GMOs.)

Kraft is backpedaling

There was quite a bit of speculation about this label last week. Many people on the internet questioned if it was real and where it came from. According to the report in the NY Times we can now conclude the following: We know that Kraft does not label, distribute or export the US version of Mac & Cheese officially. (To echo my quote in The NY Times, I find it extremely bizarre that Kraft had no knowledge of their products being sold and widely available in one of the largest retailers in the world (Tesco) and are trying to pass this off as a black market supply.)

Kraft has confirmed they do not use GMO wheat. (However, no one to my knowledge has tested the product to verify this 100%, which is important considering the contamination of GMO wheat in Oregon. Kraft customer service confirmed use of other GMOs in their products.Given all the public statements that Kraft has made to the media about this label so far – they have not attempted to refute one important fact – Their product “May Cause Adverse Effects On Activity And Attention In Children.” This is truth they can’t deny.

Tesco who sells the US version of Kraft Mac & Cheese in their “World Foods” section confirmed the label is placed on by the distributor – Innovative Bites. The case is still not solved. THERE IS STILL A MAJOR QUESTION UNANSWERED. No one has been able to get in touch with distributor Innovative Bites (including me) to find out why they used the words “made with genetically modified wheat” on the label.

Lynne Galia, the spokeswoman I met at Kraft headquarters when I delivered thousands of signatures, has still not responded to me directly. She will not answer my emails or my phone calls. She will gladly talk to the NY Times and other news agencies, but not to me or the other 290,000 people I represent who signed a petition asking Kraft to remove artificial food dyes. I find it bizarre that Kraft wouldn’t genuinely want to answer basic questions about their product – especially after I posted this concerning information that could have health implications to millions of people and children.How can we continue to trust a company like Kraft that is more concerned about making greedy business decisions to keep their market share and paying their executives millions of more dollars year after year, while neglecting enormous public outcry regarding their flagship product?

How can we continue to trust a company that continues to not take responsibility for their product containing petroleum based dyes and GMOs? How can we continue to trust an American company that reformulates their products without harmful ingredients to our friends overseas but not to us?


How can we continue to trust a company that ignores 290,000 people and is scared to have a basic civilized conversation?

“I’ve been eating Kraft Macaroni and Cheese for a long time now and have grown to enjoy the product, much like many others I’m sure. However with these recent discoveries of the yellow dyes and their effects as well as the GM wheat and GMOs, I’ve become very concerned. I have continued to eat Kraft macaroni and cheese in moderation knowing the effects it may have, however I’m certainly considering stopping if the ingredients aren’t changed. I’m worried about the long term effects it may have and really hope that Kraft can find a way to alter the ingredients, making them safer and healthier, without it having an effect on the taste of the product. Mainly, I’m concerned that children around the world may be eating this without knowing the effects it could have. The Greatest Danger of Genetic Modification

According to Dr. Mae-Wan Ho, genetic modification interferes fundamentally with the natural genetic modifications that organisms undergo in order to survive. Under natural circumstances, this is done in real time as “an exquisitely precise molecular dance of life.”
Genetic engineering, which assumes that one protein determines one particular trait, such as herbicide tolerance or insect resistance, and can easily be swapped out with another, with no other effects, is dangerously simplistic or, as Dr. Mae-Wan Ho says, “an illusion.”
An organism’s genome is not static but fluid, and its biological functions are interconnected with its environment and vice versa, such that trying to control genetic changes via artificial modification is a dangerous game. Dr. Ho explained:

“The rationale and impetus for genetic engineering and genetic modification is the ‘central dogma’ of molecular biology that assumes DNA (deoxyribose nucleic acid) carries all the instructions for making an organism.

Individual ‘genetic messages’ in DNA faithfully copied into RNA (ribosenucleic acid), is then translated into a protein via a genetic code; the protein determining a particular trait, such as herbicide tolerance, or insect resistance; one gene, one character. If it were really as simple as that, genetic modification would work perfectly. Unfortunately this simplistic picture is an illusion.

Instead of linear causal chains leading from DNA to RNA to protein and downstream biological functions, complex feed-forward and feed-back cycles interconnect organism and environment at all levels to mark and change RNA and DNA down the generations … Organisms work by intercommunication at every level, and not by control.

… In order to survive, the organism needs to engage in natural genetic modification in real time, an exquisitely precise molecular dance of life in which RNA and DNA respond to, and participate fully in ‘downstream’ biological functions.

That is why organisms and ecosystems are particularly vulnerable to the crude, artificial GM RNA and DNA created by human genetic engineers. It is also why genetic modification can probably never be safe. More importantly, the human organism shapes its own development and evolutionary future; that is why we must take responsible action to ban all environmental releases of GMOs now.”

Monsanto and other biotech companies claim genetically modified (GM) crops have no impact on the environment and are perfectly safe to eat.

The Monsanto family were the first documented Jewish settlers to have migrated to New Orleans from the Netherlands in 1758. They were known slave owners and slave traders of 18th century.

In 1901, the Monsanto family founded their eponymous chemical company. Its history is intimately linked to the production and promotion of highly toxic chemicals such as the herbicide, Agent Orange (used as a chemical weapon in the Vietnam war, resulting in 400,000 deaths and disabilities, and 500,000 children born with birth defects), and PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls, which can affect fertility, child development, the immune system, and increase the risk of certain cancers).

Monsanto has known about the “systematic toxic effects” of such chemicals for decades, but has instructed its salespeople to maintain silence because, “we can’t afford to lose one dollar.”

The gigantic biotech corporation now imperils the agricultural biodiversity which has supported life for thousands of years. The endless list of genetically modified seeds now sold and controlled via strict patents by Monsanto endanger age-old agricultural patterns under the presumptuous slogan of ending world hunger.

 What they really want is to control the future of the world’s food supply — that is, to enforce world hunger — much in the same manner, and with the same effect, that they control every aspect of life in occupied Palestine today. - W.

Ten Foods to stay away from where ever possible.

Good wholesome Organic Fruit and Vegetables.

People sprout such throw away lines like "Everything causes you cancer these days"or they might just be naive and say,"You gotta go some how".  I think they throw off like  this to try to make excuses for their own slackness regarding the food and beverages consumed on the regular by themselves and their families.  

Its an addictive cycle.  Its one that is difficult to break, once you have a house full of little addicts to keep satisfied with this highly processed junk, it is!  Hence why it is called junk food. It's addictive and it can be likened closely to junkies getting a fix. 

It is as sad as any bad addiction ever witnessed.  People lie. They hide behaviors and the list goes on and of course if they don't get help or choose to pull this behavior up of their own volition, death is the result.   Untimely early in many cases.

I constantly see the majority are opting for what they term as the easy way.  The easy way is the killer way.  This is the way that you will get cancer and die an early death.

I have a rule of thumb,  if it comes in a packet it probably is worth checking the ingredients.  .....That is if you care about yourself.

Once people never consumed oodles of potato crisps or corn chips.  Everyone is now eating corn chips in preference to potato crisps the trends show.  People are exposing themselves to GM products here if they are not certified organic in the ingredients. Corn is the one to watch.   Cereals, Sweeteners, Drinks, Lollies, just about everything has been tampered with.  Milk has additives too.

I have another rule of thumb.  Eat Simply and don't eat too much.

Most of today's people don't do the types of physical labour that one faced 24/7 during times of the past centuries and yet people are eating three times as much. This is not helping you fight the times you are exposed to anything bad. 

Homemade Biscuits are so much better for you.

In regards to all the bad stuff there is now, if you are only ever going to see a tiny bit here and there, the body can tolerate this to a point with most people.   It is the constant bombardment of the following items on the list below that is killing people faster than is normal. 

Low socio-economic groups don't stand a chance in this debate either.   How do they afford the expensive organic foods sold on the market?  They can't if they are living in a unit with four children and no garden area, all while forced to eat the poison they buy with their very own money.

1.  Genetically-modified organisms (GMOs).
2.  Processed meats.
3.  Microwave popcorn. (gmo corn used)
4.  Fizzy Carbonated sugar drinks
5.  Artificial Sweeteners / Diet Foods
6.  Over processed Flours (white)
7.  Refined sugars / Corn Syrup etc.
8.  Dirty Fresh Food ( not organic and pesticide free)
9.  Farmed salmon.
10.Hydrogenated oils.

6 Days out from the March Day .. paint, paint, paint.

Next Saturday 25th May 2013 there will be a march against Monsanto in Bellingen and many people are coming on board to show support.
I have been helping paint banners, this is not one I painted but it sure is an excellent job by my friend Ms Montes. 
Mine is huge and not finished yet.  I must do some more work on it today when I visit it later on.   There is a meeting this evening up in Bellingen at the local Environment Centre at 6pm to do rosters and organize the volunteers who are helping with various tasks in the organisation of the March against Monsanto.

I also messaged a friend that studies ancient texts to see if he may know where the GMO crew lifted this symbol from.  What does it originally represent?    It will be a good symbol and they will pollute this by attaching it to  this.  When people see it they already do not like it and they do not know the truth.  This is how it is done.  May I remind you that the Swastika suffered the same fate as this.

Swastika It symbolizes Harmony, Lord Ganesh has it on his right hand. Differs from other uses of swastika by the four dots inside each of the four arms.
