Kevin Oh Heaven sacked the NSW Labor Covenment. (Coven)

There was no lovin when Kevin Rudd went fully southern over the issues within the NSW Labor Party yesterday.  Kevin Rudd said "I am revolted by what I have seen unfold in NSW".

Property developers will be banned for standing as New South Wales Labor candidates.  A move the opposition calls fixing.  This all makes me wonder just what side Mr Eddie Obeid was actually on.   I wish the opposition would just just shut it.   I don't see how this can be party fixing.  It is very obvious it is so hard to keep the masses happy.  They whinge about the intolerable situation going on and then completely turn away from seeing it fixed up because its the Labor Party doing it. 

People can be very weak and this is an ongoing opinion.   I probably won't be changing my ideas on.  I have seen some things happen locally that are not dissimilar.

The N.S.W Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) has been investigating the property dealings of former powerbroker Eddie Obeid and former minister Ian Macdonald, who have both been expelled from the party.

I really don't care about which party fixes the corruption and who is doing this as long as its done.  Thirty days suspension and a zero tolerance towards any more of this sort of collaboration to get rich quick on the backs of the people.  It used to be on the sheep's back.  Now its on the "Sheoples" back.

The Rudd Dynasty ... ahem Ministry is unveiled!

What a mixed bag too as so many of the Gillard faithful depart from their portfolios by way of resignation as  as show of support for their deposed leader.  She did the same thing to Rudd, it was the people who voted Rudd in so therefore not many saw this as a fair situation and could not actually get past that point of fairness and the complete disregard for the Australian voters in general, I am sure this is why he will win the next election.  We are all just waiting for it to be announced.

Today the full list was announced for the  Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's new ministry.  There are some very interesting people in key positions in this ministry.  This is certainly worth looking at in detail to see where these people have come from through their career moves to the top in Federal Government.

In particular interest is the very last one on the list, Mr Gary Gray. 

In April 2000, he quit working for the party hierarchy entirely, and took up a role with Wesfarmers as the Executive Director of the Western Australian Institute of Medical Research.

Within a year, he was engaged by Woodside Petroleum as an adviser on their ultimately successful bid to repel the takeover of the company by the Shell Oil Company.

Gray was then asked to join the company, becoming the Director of Corporate Affairs on the company's executive board. During his time at Woodside, Gray represented the company before governments across the world, acting as a negotiator, advocate and leader.

I note that Fed Up made a political comment about the recent political events on Cafe Whispers post, I really liked it  more when I found out that Fed Up is not a Rudd lover at all.   The following comment is well worth reading and as Cafe Whispers says, it is worth a blog post of its own.

The fact that Rudd now has chance of winning, is not due to any greatness on his part. It will be due to a weak Abbott.
Abbott, from day one believed that he needed no policies. All he had to do was attack Gillard, not Labor, and he would be in the Lodge by Christmas 2010. He said so. Did not care about what he used to attack. Even sexism was brought in.
As that year went on it was becoming clear the woman was not going to lie down and die. Could Abbott see this? No. Thankfully for us, he did not.
His action was to up the ante for the next two years. His only interest in the Parliament was to use it as a vehicle for his daily stunt, leading to a record number of MSSOs: something that all previous Opposition leaders used sparingly. But not once did he move a no confidence motion against Gillard.
He cannot even detail the contents of the legislation passed; the ground breaking reforms.
In the meantime, Gillard got on with good governance that has put in place infrastructure for the future. She has strongly invested in human capital, which will ensure that we are well-placed to to take a leading part in the coming exciting Asian Century. Gillard ignored the noise about her form, even some in her own party and got on with the job. She has left a great legacy indeed.

Now back to Abbott, all he has done since the 2010 continue his dummy spit and kept up the abuse against Gillard. Against Gillard, I would say, and not Labor.
He has created within the community, a hatred for “that woman”.
All Abbott’s energy has been expended in his ambition to bring the PM Gillard down. He seen no seen no need to promote new policies, or even to address those of Gillard’s.
In his mind, Gillard would lay down and die leaving him in the role of caretaker PM, and then off to a very quick election. No time for review of anyone’s policies. He saw Labor as being in disarray and of no consequence. It would be a walk in for him.
That is not the scenario we have. Abbott must be in shock. What he created was hatred for “that woman”. Not for Labor. He did not create any love or respect for himself. Still seen as a bully, that few people now want.
What he did not see, was Gillard focusing on all her policies, getting them into place. The only one she did not get time for, was an answer to the boats.
Suspect we might have seen something new in that regard this week, if she could have survived long enough to go to Indonesia next week.
What he did not see, and many others, that Labor is capable of rearranging itself, to take the moves needed to put themselves in a stronger position.
We have the Labor leader back, that the polls tell us the people wants. That leader has agreed to a tight rein being kept on him by Caucus. Rudd has agreed to the tight rein Caucus has imposed on him.
All Rudd has to do is to sell the strong policies that Gillard has put in place. Most which no one has problems with.
What has Abbott got with Gillard gone? Nothing, absolutely nothing. No polices of worth. A badly flawed asylum policy and the world coming on board, including China and the USA, in relation to carbon emissions.
We still have that strong economy, which with the falling dollar is likely to be even a little bette, before the election
What has Abbott got with “that woman” gone? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. He has his flawed slogans to deal with asylum seekers and empty carbon tax warnings.
He has naught.
It was Gillard that he stirred up hatred for, not Labor. It appears they will listen to what Rudd says. Rudd does indeed, thank to Gillard, have a great message to sell.
He will have to do better than turn back the boats and big taxes.
Many do not like what has happened. Is is not fair.
But it just might work, and yes, we do not have to like Rudd, or even thank him. We can leave that to history.
Once again Julia Gillard did not act as Abbott expected. I suspect she is more interested in the policies surviving, than being in the lime light herself. History will also make it judgment on her. I suspect, she will not be found wanting.
All I am trying to do, is make sense of the last few weeks of what is occurring in politics.

They both agreed the loser should quit parliament.  See you later Juliar!

Julia announced there would be a ballot because she thought there was a petition circulating about her.  There wasn't but she took the bait and she put it up there for the vote.
Leading up to the events Julia said that any one who believes they should be leader  should come forward now.  These issues need to be resolved to night, she said.  Of course Kruddy said yes.  Caucus went out to take the ballot and it took over an hour as the ballots were counted one by one by Chris Hayes the returning officer. 
Julia said she couldn't deal with a potential alternate leader floating around the wings and this had to be done.  First bit of truth coming out of her mouth.

K Rudd has been lobbied by ministers and colleagues to save the Labor Party from a certain death.  People have been asking for a long while for him to step back up.  We all voted for him.

So the votes are in: 
K. RUDD      - 57 votes
J.  GILLARD - 45 votes

Swan said he will go if Rudd wins.   Sounds like a line from Australiana there.  Swan is now diving because he didn't get his way.   Anthony Albanese is now our new deputy Prime Minister.   

Government house was waiting on a letter from the failed Prime Minister which  advises the Governor General to put Kevin in the job in her place.  The Governor  General  only acts on the advise of the prime minister here in these circumstances.


The floor of the parliament was in bedlam last night that is for sure but we have a the right Prime Minister back in the job. So lets steam ahead.

What happened to KRUDDY today?

Today was a strange day in politics.  It was rumored there would be a leadership spill and that Julia would be getting toppled.  I heard about it from all differing sources all week.   Today in the party room Julia stood and was victorious 71 -73 votes after former Labor leader Simon Crean showed his hand and then was sacked for his efforts.
  A lot of us are in shock at this result because we want her gone. 

Has it occurred to the masses that we never voted for her and therefore she is not our intended leader. Kevin Rudd was the man Australia voted for.  Why he doesn't get the numbers in the party is a direct indication that the politicians do not support the people and the people's views.  If they did represent us all  this would have been a differing result in the  Party room numbers and Kevin would now be our Prime Minister.

Julia is a quasi woman,  one who is just not quite one but shows some female attributes.  Like a desire to play with her hair color.  Don't let the pretty colors fool you.  Just like the Popes wear RED Slippers to signify the slaughterings ( Sacrifices)  Julia Gillard wears her hair as red as she can to symbolize that she is up to her ear holes in the slaughter of ordinary Australians and their peaceful way of life.

I personally would like to see a RUDD versus HOCKEY parliament.  I think they are both reasonable people and would make fair political opponents as well

What is happening in Government?

Voting anyone?

 There is talk of a leadership change in the Labor Party.  I hear K Rudd could make a return, besides this Richard Torbay has retired from parliament.  He was an independent.  This was refreshing.  Not sure what will come from this yet.  Its a day to sit back and wait and see what happens.

I would like to see Kevid Rudd come back.  All of Australia cannot exist under the leadership of Julia Gillard.  She is off the planet, and this country was beginning to feel like an SS Concentration camp.

I look forward to tomorrow and to see where these things are tomorrow.  More may be added to this blog later this evening yet.
