There are many TRINITIES!

While the majority of the Christian world considers the concept of the Trinity vital to Christianity, many historians and Bible scholars agree that the Trinity of Christianity owes more to Greek philosophy and pagan polytheism than to the monotheism of the Jew and the Jewish Jesus.
Definition:

The word "Trinity" comes from the Latin noun "trinitas" meaning "three are one." The Trinity expresses the belief that God is one Being made up of three distinct Persons who exist in co-equal essence and co-eternal communion.

The best known trinity in todays modern western world  is the Christian Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit / Holy Mother.
 But .....  there are others and this post may well get additions as we go along with our studies of ancient cultures of the many lands of this planet we live on and we act oblivious to most of this wisdom contained and hidden for only the eyes that that can see it.

Egyptian trinities - Osiris   Isis   Horus

Ammun  - Ra (his face), Ptah (his body),   Amun (hidden identity)

Babylonian  - Nimrod (father),     Tamuz (son),    Serememous (mother),

Sumerian trinity - Anu (the father,)  Enlil (wind god of Earth), Enki (wisdom)

Etruscans -  Tinia,   Uni,   Menerva

 Greek  - Hecate,  Persephone,  and Selene

Asian Teachings - x 3  - Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism

 Anu was the primary god of heaven, the ‘Father’, and the ‘King of the Gods’; Enlil, the ‘wind-god’ was the god of the earth, and a creator god; Enki was the god of waters and the ‘lord of wisdom’

Jamaica -  Holy Emmanuel, I Selassie I,  Jah Rastafari.  ( going to do a separate one on these guys because their take is very interesting, especially the retension of the astrological side of things and their use of cannibus and the fact they hate ISM's
