Jeffrey Raymond 'Jeff' McCloy is an Australian politician, who was Lord Mayor of Newcastle between 2012 and 2014. He has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Newcastle.

The former Newcastle Mayor Jeff McCloy felt the sting of justice.

In a judgment delivered on Wednesday, a majority of the court rejected a claim that the ban was an impermissible restriction on the implied freedom of political communication in the Constitution.

Last month Jeff McCloy tried his hardest to intimidate the system by trying to disarm Geoffrey Watson SC the counsel assisting the inquiry. McCloy took offense at being called Mr Mayor and he also didn't like the fact that his Bentley vehicle was mentioned.
