The original author of the Tarot is unknown but it is said to have come from Egypt over 3500 years ago and brought to Europe by the Rom or Gypsies as they traveled to Europe from India.
The Magi encrypted sacred knowledge into the Tarot to keep this ancient wisdom safe from manipulation and destruction.
The Tarot was devised from principals of the Kabbala, evident also is symbolism from ancient Egypt the runes astrology and numerology and they also correspond to the chakras and colour symbolism.
The deck consists of 72 Cards altogether
Major Acana 22 cards and the minor Arcana consists of 56 cards.
The Major Acanna cards are the key to decoding and understanding the secret wisdom.
THE FOOL
The first card is the 0 card and this represents the beginning of the Major Arcana cards and is the Fool and this card represents Orion and the God Consciousness in our material realm. The Fool has a feather in his cap and in ancient star maps Orion is depicted with a feather in his cap and the feather symbolism of the weighing of the heart.
The Fool Card : It is also Symbolizing the potential soul before its birthed into existence and splits into twin souls of male and female.
On the card the fool is depicted in the ethereal, walking towards the cliffs edge in innocence, completely unaware that he is about to be manifest onto the material realm below.
In his pack he is holding the unknown potential of the souls. It contains no content at all which means nothing and corresponds to the zero card.
The dog represents Canis Majoris or the Dog star aka Sirius. Sirius and Orion's belt points to each other and they line up with great sites around the planet as it does on the Fool Card in the form of the white dog.
We see the ice and the sun and this symbolizes the polarity of Gods infinite energy. This energy is always equal as this is what gives energy its force and momentum.
