Serpent symbolism
Serpent or snake symbolism shows a coming awake or of a state of knowing. It is rooted in the earth and sprouting wings.
Transformation and resurrection are alchemically represented with this symbolism. The serpent shape represents energy, movement, water, wisdom, Kundalini rising, sound waves, resurrection, and it is the symbol for the age of Aquarius - the two squiggly lines.
Many ancient cultures share this same serpent symbolism across the planet. Rainbow Serpent (Australia), Quetzalcoatl (Meso America) etc etc. It is symbolized in the Hindu and Buddhist traditions. It is the Kundalini rising. The Kundalini (Sanskrit: कुण्डलिनी kuṇḍalinī, , "coiled one", in the concept of Dharma, refers to a form of primal energy (or shakti) said to be located at the base of the spine.
