South Australian born Sia has wowed the US and hit the prized #1 spot. This is a coveted position and she is pleased this latest project worked out so well and it has raised this level of support.
She was put on the cover of Billboard Magazine with a bag over her head because she does not want to be famous. The text that went with the the cover shot said
"This artist is responsible for over 12 million track sales ... and doesn't want to be famous".
I don't like the way the US market can chew up people so easily though and so I hope that she is safe in the hands of the one of the most evil industries on the planet.. everyone knows the music industry is the bad lands and one needs to be covered well to enter.
