Heading into Nundle now they're almost half way through an 8 week trek along the Bicentennial National Trail, most on horseback and two support vehicles.
Mick said there is some pretty rugged country they have traversed and he also said he came across some creeks and water ways that you just can't drink from at all. There are small communities all along the way and all have issues in their various backyards they are attempting to deal with.
The Woop Woop March will meet with The Australian Minister for the Environment, Hon. Greg Hunt MP and the Hon. Ian Macfarlane MP. the Minister for Industry in Canberra in Late November when they arrive at the National Capital.
While in Canberra the Horses will be staying at the National Equestrian Centre. People are welcome to Join them ... I will be joining them and I will be taking mail to them from the BELLINGEN SHIRE to Canberra to say what we know about water and to advocate for the water in a letter.
This is one of the Franklin's beautiful horses, I think his name is Gary ... there are ten horses and five riders. Two woman riding and one is Jan and that is so wonderful indeed.
