I guess those responsible are the backward ones. They are the same backward ones that called Aboriginals 'Savages'. We know they were very wrong and so did many people of the day. We now know who were the real savages and they were somewhat backward as well. |
The English Governors sent here to Lord over people. Some of the ordinary Irish folks and English were perfectly fine recognizing the humanity in the dark skinned people they encountered, this was not the case with the aristocracy though.
It is very clear in retrospect, the white man knew nothing compared to what the aboriginal man did of country. He knew how it all worked. The rest of the world compliments of the English lost their connection to finding out exactly what did happen through the stories of the dreaming. Another clear case of the English cutting off their noses to spite their faces.

A treaty is a treaty and should still be seen as such. That Governor was well out of order and this needs to be looked at. They should be tried for treason.
