The Weekend Roundup from Doubtful Creek

The amazing Mr Xavier Rudd called into Doubtful Creek to do the Pop Up concert for the fight against Csg in the Northern Rivers.  Xavier has been very vocal of late in the media regarding his opposition to this type of mining.  Last week on Triple J's Hack program he openly stood up against some fairly serious attacks regarding his core beliefs and how he feels about the environment.  I was wondering when the ABC was going to introduce this topic onto the Hack stage forum as it is a hot topic that is largely going unreported in the media because of just who owns our media for a start.

On the weekend it was very sunny and very wet as equally so.  I have been sky watching over the weekend and the clouds at night were really amazing to see.   You see huge big cumulonimbus clouds and along side this you see the full starry heaven.  The clouds were shining with the moon light shining on them.  Spectacular.  Mercury is up there in the sky to be seen easily at the present time.

It certainly is time for us to effect the changes we want to see occur in the world in any small way we can.
