The ancient Roman god of medicine, whose staff with a snake curled around it is commonly used as a symbol of medicine. According to mythology, Aesculapius's children included Hygeia, the goddess of health, and Panaceia, the goddess of healing.

Hygiene Latin hugieinē technē, meaning "(art) of health"

The words Hygiene and  Cure come to mind here and I want to explore those words above, the names of the goddesses of health and healing.

Medicine is one of the oldest occupations on the planet too.   Those physicians and attendants who served this god were known as the Therapeutae of Asclepius.

Theophrastus Phillippus Aureolus Bombastus von Hohenheim better known as Paracelcus

So I wanted to find out about what energies that dew had that formed overnight, I was lead to read about this man Paracelsus.  I am very keen to recognize some of his work in forming my own opinion about these things.  Unlike many who try to discredit his work I believe they are just not awake enough to absorb the truth of his concepts.

Paracelsus was born Philippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, on the 11th of November or 17th of December 1493 and died on the  24th September 1541.  He was a Swiss German Renaissance physician, botanist, alchemist, astrologer, and general occultist.

Paracelsus founded the discipline of toxicology.   He was known as a revolutionary.  He is described thus for insisting upon using observations of nature, instead of relying on the ancient texts.  He was radically defiant  of the medical practices of his day.

He is also credited for giving zinc its name by calling it zincum.  Modern psychology credits him for being the first person to document and investigate that certain diseases are manifested in psychological changes and mental illness.
Paracelsus had a difficult personality.  He was stubborn and independent. He grew cynical and more frustrated and embittered as his wisdom was not heeded and he suffered as a reformer.

Known as Paracelsus,  why?

"Paracelsus", meaning "next (in his status as physician) to Celsus", refers to the Roman encyclopedist Aulus Cornelius Celsus from the 1st century, known for his tract on medicine.

Paracelsus' most important legacy is likely his critique of the scholastic methods in medicine, science and theology. Although these faculties did not exist separate from each other during his time, his attitudes towards the uncritical copy of the teachings of the old Fathers of Medicine, such as Avicenna and Averroes, without categorically denying their obvious merits, was his first and foremost achievement for independent and empirical approaches to research and teaching.

Much of his theoretical work does not withstand modern scientific thought, but his insights laid the foundation for a more dynamic approach in the medical sciences. Wiki

So what influenced Paracelsus most? 

 As a physician of the early 16th century, Paracelsus held a natural affinity with the Hermetic, Neoplatonic, and Pythagorean philosophies central to the Renaissance, a world-view exemplified by Marsilio Ficino and Pico della Mirandola. Paracelsus rejected the magic theories of Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa and Nicolas Flamel in his Archidoxes of Magic.

Astrology was a very important part of Paracelsus' medicine, and he was a practicing astrologer, as were many of the university-trained physicians working at this time in Europe.

Paracelsus devoted several sections in his writings to the construction of astrological talismans for curing disease, providing talismans for various maladies as well as talismans for each sign of the Zodiac. He also invented an alphabet called the Alphabet of the Magi, for engraving angelic names upon talismans.

Paracelsus pioneered the use of chemicals and minerals in medicine. His hermetical views were that sickness and health in the body relied on the harmony of man (microcosm) and Nature (macrocosm). He took an approach different from those before him, using this analogy not in the manner of soul-purification but in the manner that humans must have certain balances of minerals in their bodies, and that certain illnesses of the body had chemical remedies that could cure them. As a result of this hermetical idea of harmony, the universe's macrocosm was represented in every person as a microcosm. According to the insights at the time, there were Seven planets in the sky, Seven metals on Earth and Seven centers (or major organs) in Man — seven was a special number. Everything was heavenly and closely interrelated (see table below).

Police are expected in large numbers to the Bentley Blockade protectors site near Lismore, where the community are opposing gas drilling by Metgasco in the Northern Rivers.

The date of the 19th May has been confirmed for up to 900 riot police.

The community believe this to be both unnecessary and an absolute breach of their democratic right to express their dissent to this industry and that the Government has not heard nor acted on the communities overwhelming statement of being a gasfield free community of which 98.6% have voted against gasfields in the region.


The Northern Rivers call on people everywhere, and particularly here in the cities to support their opposition to this industry and demand that the call for police presence cease as it is a breach on their local communities' (and the people of NSW) democratic rights. This level of force is dangerous and unnecessary to a community which is engaging in peaceful and non violent direct action to protect the site.

POINTS TO MAKE

• - Request the Government cancel sending in riot squad and police presence and make clear to them that they should enable the community, who are wholly opposed to this industry, to peacefully assemble and exercise their right to object to Metgasco's gasfield exploration plans at the site.

• - Request that the Government immediately freeze the licence and exploration activity and review the situation, and that based on the fact that the community are unequivocally opposed to the exploration of unconventional gas by Metgasco (98.6% say NO) that the exploration be cancelled to reflect democratic process, and the Petroleum exploration licence be revoked by the NSW Govt. as the gas company have “no social licence”.

There is no excuse for Apathy

The people at BENTLEY BLOCKADE are not apathetic

Although the young lass in the Youtube video below is from the United States, the same lack of integrity pertains to our country where I live in Australia.

For a start the apathy around finding out the true history of this land. The apathy of ordinary people to care about the land around them and see to its protection. The apathy around government and its supposed powers. The apathy to tackle that unlawful system we are under here in Australia.   The apathy of the Australian public to have Terra Nullius properly defined once and for all and to understand that this land was never Terra Nullius.  The apathy surrounding understanding our governments corrupt acts against the people /genocide, these are just a few.

 I am also worried about the Fluoride issue in Australian drinking water.  After all it is the by-product of aluminum smelting and its a waste product that cannot be disposed of.  So its seems sensible to put this in the drinking water, NOT!  The perverted medical profession is another  I have long been concerned with and the over prescribing of certain medications that seemed to have fashionable air about them with the frequency with which some medications are prescribed for such a wide range of ailments some so remote from indicated for the said medication almost. I have seen no good come of it anywhere in my short fifty five years.

 I can clearly see the food system has been eroded by the erosion of family and family values.  Young mothers feeding babies solids too early and using food of a dubious nature to so with is a scary prospect and a reason that some children are experiencing major allergy issues.  But with the eroding of family goes the common sense approach to family and the passing on of valuable knowledge.  Not all mothers attend Mothercraft classes.  There is now no basis for the reliable passing on of specific techniques that have traditionally been covered by grandmothers and aunties in the community.

Please watch this video and apply it to your thoughts about this country and where Australia is today with Mining and the fact that sick people exist from the effects of mining and they are trying to be heard, their sicknesses relate to mining and water and it is serious and it is now of an urgent nature.

Please pass this video on to others so they may also be suitably inspired to use their brain before it calcifies from too much fluoride in our drinking water. I tend to call that MASS DRUGGING OF THE POPULACE myself.

The NSW Police Minister steps Down - ICAC

Well this has been one of the biggest weeks at ICAC so far and I am assuming I am not the only one cracking bottles of champagne in my mind.  There has been so much that has come to life now that makes sense of all of it.

All of those times we said the POLICE were being bully boys for the Mining Companies we were spot on the money.  He was up to his ears in this mining political bribes and donations scandal.

ICAC is a long way from being over,  we know personally much much more than has been yet to be revealed.  All of this for favors for Mining Companies.

Gallacher the now ex Police Commissioner has now been named as one of the key players.  It just gets better and better.  Better than reality television.

Mr Watson (QC) said: “By the end of this you are going to regret giving that answer.”

ICAC discovered a series of text messages between Mr Williams, Mr Gallacher and Mr Hartcher arranging a dinner with Mr Tinkler, the leader of the National Party Andrew Stoner and themselves at the Crown Plaza Terrigal.

Mr Williams refers to Mr Gallacher as “mate.”

In one text message Mr Hartcher said he would book a private room. “Don’t want to overheard” he tells Mr Williams.  The Australian - read more here.

The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption inquiry has heard allegations that mining mogul Nathan Tinkler tried to bribe former New South Wales MP Jodi Mckay.

Now this is another twist.  I saw this poor woman's face.  The look of sheer relief was evident.  It was a very heavy burden being the target of a smear campaign.  Joe Tripodi is a menace and I only hope there is some justice comes to all of the lives that have been effected by this corrupt government operating with Mining Companies.

TONY JONES, PRESENTER: A New South Wales corruption inquiry has heard allegations that the embattled mining magnate Nathan Tinkler tried to bribe a former Labor MP.

Jodi McKay broke down in the witness box as she was told Mr Tinkler and her Labor colleague Joe Tripodi set out to smear her during the election campaign.

JODI MCKAY, FORMER NSW LABOR MP: I heard from ICAC what I had suspected and it came as a shock to me, but it was cleansing, yes. I've wait three years.

TONY JONES: Ms McKay said she'd previously rejected any legal offer from Mr Tinkler to bank-roll her campaign in exchange for support for a billion-dollar coal loader in Newcastle. She said when she was told Mr Tinkler, when she told Mr Tinkler it was illegal to take donations from developers, he told her he had hundreds of employees and could get around the rules.

Proto-Indo-European language

The Proto-Indo-European language (PIE) is the linguistic reconstruction of a common ancestor of the Indo-European languages spoken by the Proto-Indo-Europeans.  Biologists have been able to  utilize tools that have been developed for creating evolutionary family trees to solve a long term problem with archeology, the origin of the Indo-European family of languages. 

This interests me because I keep seeing Latin root words close to many original languages from this country which number around 620 language groups.  Is this a coincidence I asked myself?

The linguists say there is a connection in language. The existence of PIE was first postulated in the 18th century by Sir William Jones, who observed the similarities between Sanskrit, Ancient Greek, and Latin.

So I propose there is many commonalities to Latin with Aboriginal languages here in this country as well.  There has been some studies done where DNA is concerned and there is a common gene with the Australian Aboriginal, the Chinese, The Indian and the Gaelic peoples.  This seems very feasible hypothesis in so many ways.

It is nice to know it was the Irish who mostly loved the indigenous people of this land when they experienced any freedom from the tyranical English colonizers.

The people doing this study will be met with a lot of flack regarding the origins but I commend them for trying to find the truth.  Applying filters to the computer program that highlight when the Romans did what they did and how this effected the languages of the world as well is so clever.

So Indo-European itself cannot have fragmented into those daughter languages, historical linguists argue, before the invention of chariots and wagons, the earliest known examples of which date to 3500 B.C. This would rule out any connection between Indo-European and the spread of agriculture from Anatolia, which occurred much earlier.

“I see the wheeled-vehicle evidence as a trump card over any evolutionary tree,” said David Anthony, an archaeologist at Hartwick College who studies Indo-European origins.

Dew ... It has magical healing qualities

 I went looking to find out more about Dew as a healing medium because in my youth I had read about this before, but once again I didn't understand the depth of what I was reading at the time.  I retained the knowledge and now after many years and much more reading I can now confidently understand how this Dew Essence is beneficial and why it is.

A defiant Rio Tinto are still attempting to push ahead with the extension of the open-cut coal mine near Bulga in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales.

Multinational mining company Rio Tinto is defying the verdict of the Supreme Court which upheld the earlier decision by  the Land and Environment Court to not allow for the Mt Thorley Warkorth mine extension. 

Bulga is a beautiful little village, a tiny haven of 350 people who sadly reside at the gate of the Hunter Valley Mine Expansion program of New South Wales, Australia.

The Supreme Court verdict did not seem to faze Rio Tinto.  They say they are simply going to submit another development application under the new controversial planning laws and attempt to steam roll this through regardless of the process of law.

Last year when Planning minister Hazzard took no notice of the Land and Environment Court decision and sided with Rio Tinto against the people, it left many people in New South Wales with no other option but to see the reality of the political arena today.   The arena is clearly a corrupt and filthy paddock of play with no place for the views of the people or the courts, it is the haunt of of the corrupt, the greedy and the inhumane.

Rio Tinto saying no matter what we will still go ahead despite the ruling is "Genocide via Ecocide".

The supreme court cited the expected economic benefits of the expansion did not justify its environmental impacts.  Residents have already been driven mad with dust and particulate issues that Rio Tinto already do nothing about.  The noise is already deafening and any thought of doubling this is just not justifiable.

 If allowed to proceed, Rio Tinto  will destroy the land that was previously set aside as compensation.  This set aside land contains endangered eco systems and it was clear at the onset this land was compensation for the earlier destruction of land compliments of the present mine at Warkworth near Bulga NSW. 

To even entertain such a notion about the set aside land is not ethical business and it is a clear misrepresentation of the the parameters of truth presented to get the earlier Development Applications.

This type of thinking is not logical or practical as there are no long term benefits in such short term thinking.

Demand Rio Tinto respects the rulings of both the Supreme and NSW Land and Environment Court.

Please sign the petition and tell mining giant Rio Tinto not to extend its polluting open-cut coal mine.   HERE  at Petition Site.  It may not be what stops it but it just might help.

LoL on the 'Better than Reality Televison' Tagline - ICAC

I had to smile reading the Newcastle Herald article written by Kate McClymont, Michaela Whitbour, the two were reporting on the latest call ups and final appearances to the ICAC Investigation into Parliamentary Donations.  

 

These donations have been alleged to have been given by corrupt businessmen who desire their contracts to pass through all the necessary channels unhindered and no questions asked in the process in return for monies that were secreted in slush fund companies.  This is the story line so far.

The writers were correct in saying it was more entertaining than reality telly as the who's who of New South Wales politics gets called up to the live inquiry. 

This is a serious show, they issue warrants to see what is going on behind closed doors.  Chris Hartcher was over come with stage fright earlier on in the game when he received a warrant and had to retire with an injured pride.   But the fans don't miss out on seeing Riff Raff Hartcher because its reality television and he still has to appear warts and all.

Someone who had to take the latest walk of shame was Barry O'Farrell the now former Premier of New South Wales.  He was voted out because he let the team down with memory problems or to be blunt  over the non disclosure of a gift of a bottle of very special Grange Hermitage 1959 Vintage.

There are strict laws around donating to politicians and the business men are bending the rules to make these fit to meet their greedy mercenary needs.  Barry's memory problems bought him an early mark from last weeks action packed ICAC episode.

The herald story which you can read HERE was so witty using sentences that raise a smile and allow you to feel like they are with us on this issue, sentences like the following:

The next ICAC episode, which starts on Monday, is expected to deliver several twists and turns given that its backdrop is the stench of corruption surrounding developers, their hefty donations to political parties and possible favourable outcomes.

The stars of the show will be three central coast state MPs – former resources minister Chris Hartcher, Darren Webber and Chris Spence.

The big reveal will be the details of what favours were granted in return for generous donations.

At the centre of this twisted plot is  Eightbyfive, a company controlled by Tim Koelma and Ray Carter who were former staffers to the stage frightened Chris Harcher former Energy Minister.

It is alleged this company operated secretly as a slush fund.  Nick Di Girolamo recently had all of his affairs scrutinized by the ICAC judges and they found that AWB had EightbyFive on a retainer of $7333   a month.  ICAC are yet to determine just what work they did for the AWB.   Suspiciously the documents were destroyed in a flood in Koelma's car port. One could only deem this act of God as a convenient occurrence. 

The links to corruption go right across the nation, and the Corruption commission is uncovering new information each day it sits.

In 2013 the Independent Commission Against Corruption investigated these two (former) senior Labor officials, Eddie Obeid and the Mining Minister, Ian Macdonald.  The Commission inquiry found the two had engaged in corrupt conduct and recommended they face criminal charges.

 Back in 2009 Nathan Rees who was up for head clown re election declared regarding the election out come at the time, "Should I not be Premier at the end of this day, let there be no doubt in the community's mind that any challenger would be a puppet of Eddie Obeid and Joe Tripodi". 

Kristina Keneally denied this of course but it made her look tired for her then 41 years.  She firmly stated "I am nobody's puppet, I am nobody's protege, I am nobody's girl."   I dont think the clown liked puppets myself.

The corruption as I said earlier runs the full length of this country and over seas as well.  A mining license was conveniently issued over the Obeid family farm.  Macdonald and Obeid say they know nothing, and Australia laughs as we watch on, knowing this will make a top rate movie script.  Reality Show Rules stated he Obeid is forevermore banned from ever playing the game of politics with any party in the future, permanently red carded and the same treatment was dished out to Ian Macdonald as well.

Only today it is revealed that Australian Banks have been involved in Land Grabs in third world countries.  It appears their is very little in the way of scruples used in big business in Australia. 

The donations are said to vary in amount and have been hidden in a variety of creative ways across the nation.  Chris Hartcher even used his own nephew Legal Firm to launder money and get them involved in this sordid affair that reaches far and wide. 
Nathan Tinkler gave donations in the vicinty of  $183,000 and that is not to be sneezed at.  He really wanted his way didn't he. 

Australian Water Holdings former board member Dr Shott who had his career smeared has now been cleared as well.   It was found that this malicious action was premeditated and was done to get rid of him.  The man had scruples and he got in their way and they sort to repay him for this by finishing his career for him.  Now that is game power, Dr Shott needed a medic and finally one came in the form of ICAC.

The list goes on and on and on and on and this is a long long way from being over as ICAC go over every business dealing that Eddie Obeid ever did in Australia since coming from Lebanon. 

Was there  a purpose coming to Australia?  I have heard stories that he may have been sent here to try to galvanize the mining industry at pace in this century in Australia because he sure was instrumental in causing a lot of mines to be passed that people are simple scratching their heads over. 

Pipelines that are trashing sacred sites faster than I say Jack Robertson and the demolishing of Cobb and Co Overnight stations that are not on the main routes and out of common site is blatant disreguard for anyones actual culture and some of this is what has brought the attention squarely on them all.

Many protectors have spent hours and hours pouring over documents looking for connections in business and government and the ASX.  I think some of this is actually paying off.  After all it was silly of the NSW government to Appeal the Land and Environment Court.  Everyone started looking then.  Many ordinary people I spoke to who really showed no care either way all of a sudden were quite clear on how corrupt this was and that the Mining companies ran the NSW Parliament not the politicians.  That was the word on the street back then.
