The local Community and Environmental Protestors demanded their right; to take water samples from trucks to and from the Glenugie CSG site. Yesterday a water truck attempting to exit was blocked.
"We don't look after their property once their trucks and their machinery and their equipment (is on site), that's their obligation," she said.
"Our main response is about getting those vehicles in, and that's obviously where the conflict comes in.
"The community members who are protesting think that that's where they can get the best voice that can be heard and the best publicity, and they will place themselves in between the trucks and the site.
"Regretfully once we start arresting then obviously conflict arises, and you can be looking at assault police charges which do carry some hefty penalties.
"Sometimes when they're in a group their feelings and emotions get carried away, and people find that they do things that they would not normally do.

Hey Mezza thanks for publishing my post!
I think back now and I can say; I am so appreciative of this beautiful body of caring people, who will put such a huge and authentic sacrifices to defend others lives that they would not even live to enjoy themselves, but know that through them life can exist and healthily where it would had been stamped out by CSG contamination.
What price can we put on our children's future?
The profits of CSG?
